- Comment on Reddit stock is down 1.99% over the past 3 months 1 week ago:
Look at the indexes, not the individual stocks. Things are rebounding, but a massive slide started at the beginning of this month.
One of the big drivers is fear of an AI bubble. A lot of stocks that hitched their wagon to AI are down a lot. Reddit has some vulnerability there.
Also, it’s 2% for one company. Reddit has been pretty flat for the last 2 months. 2% is totally inline with natural variation.

Lots of stuff has been down. Especially tech stocks.

Most of human history also didn’t live to 80 and have to manage payments on a certified preowned Kia and a 3 / 2.5 in a good school district.

Everyone is different, but a lot of studies show that late 20s / early 30s is a sweet spot for stability and not encountering big risks with conceiving.
That said, having kids in your early 20’s, and early 30’s both sounds miserable to me.

There is a pretty good chance they ain’t leaving the nest after high school. Wage stagnation, increased housing prices, limited junior job roles. People stay at home forever these days.

My grandfather worked in the Norilsk sandwich mines as state sandwich cutter. I stand by what I said.
- Comment on 4 weeks ago:
This sandwich is straight out of the USSR.
Unnecessary labor that only exists to keep sandwich cutters employed. It produces an odd looking product that would never last in a free market economy. This is the Lada of sandwich cuts.
This is a sandwich for Khrushchev.

Just mocking OP’s stupid post. There is an abundance of neurodivergent people who successfully go super deep on academic pursuits. Many would argue that they came prewired with a cheating code for deep specialization in a field.
- Comment on Ferns 1 month ago:
Nah, you also have abundance of ADHD folks that are hyper focused on the only subject that they care about, or anxiety disorder folks who are worried about not achieving a goal.
