It happens the other way around. Some places that sell rotisserie chickens have decided to sell gas.

- Comment on Ex-Alex Jones employee reflects on job at Infowars: ‘It was nonsense. It was lies’ 5 weeks ago:
They were civil cases and Infowars is likely to shut down in the next couple weeks so it can be liquidated to pay debts resulting from his lost cases and appeals.
But, he’s planning to simply start up a new venture. Sandy Hook families are expected to try to shut that down as well.
- Comment on Is 71° F (21° C) the ideal weather to wear shorts? 1 month ago:
San Francisco - “needs to be at least 75, because the temp is going to drop dramatically in 2 hours”
Minneapolis - “it’s above 40f. Time for a t-shirt and shorts.”

- Comment on Is the IOS Mail app supposed to be garbage and useless? 1 month ago:
Couple issues here.
-
facebook need to fix copying within their own app
-
apple’s selection model for those email address pills is super busted. The workaround is to start your selection in the white space next to the email pills. Don’t tap on the pill directly. Then you’ll get the contextual menu for copying. Image
I’d throw the feedback in here feedbackassistant.apple.com

Agreed. I’m just saying that I’ve seen behavior burby places change, even when the demographics, parks, and schools reminded similar.

Are you saying that suburban families with kids no longer live next to schools, parks, friends?
- Comment on British children are 3 times more likely than Dutch children to be obese. A British journalist explains why 1 month ago:
Weird thing is that many American kids no longer do this in the suburbs, and it used to be very very common 30+ years ago.
I imagine that is a combo of helicopter parenting + American roads becoming less safe.
- Comment on German man says american are savages 1 month ago:
You’re looking at one incident, on one block, in the one city in America that is radically different than all of the others.
And that said, NYCs response times are around 10min, which is target that Germany also tries to hit. www.nyc.gov/assets/operations/…/2025_mmr.pdf
- Comment on GIMP: The Movie (2026) | Official Trailer 1 month ago:
As a product designer, I’ve clocked in countless hours with many many design tools over the year. For raster, vector, page layout, solid modeling, ux, animation, you name it.
I desperately want GIMP to be my, and my design team’s, raster tool of choice. That said, the UX is still abysmal, it uses some bizarre UI patterns, and the UX hasn’t really evolved over the past two decades. There has been some project to redo the UX, but they all seem to eventually die on the vine.
I would LOVE an OOS raster tool with GIMP’s feature set, and a decent interface.
My tool of choice is Photopea at the moment. The ads are horrible, but it has a broad feature set, is free, and appears to be coded by a single workhorse dev who has basically cloned photoshop as a web app.
- Comment on Passing Notes 2 months ago:
Stephon and the Colin / Che joke swaps are similar. The cast has no idea what was written for them. The writers try to break the performer. The performer tries to hold the sketch together.
