    States and cities still can. Buisnesses can decide to as well. Groups and individuals can also lock themselves down. Basically: communities.

      In theory they can, but when a trump backed federal government and law enforcement is breathing down their neck with implicit threats of court cases and funding cuts I wonder if a lot of places will want to do anything.

      A lot of people in Nazi Germany didn’t vote for it either, nobody remembers them as anything but Nazis.

      Other countries don’t have the time or patience to be checking every fucking US refugee to make sure they have the right politics.

      Nope, we’re all going to be assumed to be just as dangerous as the rest of them. Don’t get it twisted.

        As a non-American, I can confirm. My personal opinion of Americans has been declining sharply for the last decade, and last year’s election was the final nail. The average American is a brain-dead magat who puts a greater importance on hurting brown people than helping anyone. It’s a shithole country.

      48% of voters is an internal US matter and the USA is represented by Trump, who has already speed run to Russian level censorship, expansionism, hate, and authoritarianism.

      More than a third of eligible voters didn’t vote. They were fine with either outcome.

      I wonder if they’re still feeling the same way.
