I don’t believe in his case it was primarily due to neurodivergence but rather a depression-era childhood.
Could he afford a weed whacker? Yes, but he made one from an old vacuum, even in the 80s/90s. And so on.

Infants can generally support their own neck at six months.
At that point, just based on your description, I personally think a child of that age would be able to either stop lolling their head or fuss if they were uncomfortable unless they were to a point of significant distress.

Just kidding. I don’t actually say those things, I make better jokes but I can’t remember them anymore because my face caught up and nobody asks anymore.
In my case it’s genetic. I started getting greys in my early 20s and was fully grey by 30. This happened to my father. This is seemingly happening to my son. But only one of two biological sons yet the other has curly hair like my father that me and the other platinum child don’t have at all.
