Go for it. The problem with bestiality is informed consent, IMO. If you can hold a full conversation with an animal where it shows its understanding of the situation and consents and you won’t damage each other, who cares what you do?
- Comment on Why is it sometimes difficult to start doing what one enjoys? 2 days ago:
A lot of people are saying depression (which is true) but I’d also like to throw in stress. I like reading and playing strategy games, but I’m sometimes so stressed that I can concentrate enough to do these things. It helps to have some easy, no brain hobbies as well to help get started with relaxation, so you’re able to enjoy your main hobby after you feel a bit better
- Comment on What are some old games that are hard to revisit, because a more modern and superior version exists? 2 days ago:
That’s just crazy talk. Pokémon Blue is my favourite, although I’ve only played up to gen 4 (Diamond, I think is the name). It’s not as good as the previous generations and the physical special split is just weird IMO. I’m sure that’s an unpopular opinion for people who are used to playing like that though, I think it would make more sense to me if it was how it had always been. Abilities were a neat addition though, I’ll give you that

That’s what it is. It’s gloves for feet (and regular socks are mittens for feet)
- Comment on Musk shares post that Hitler didn’t kill millions, public workers did. Union rages 1 week ago:
This was exactly my response. If Hitler doesn’t count as being the one who killed millions, you don’t count as a good inventor / business person.
But in reality, it doesn’t matter. You should be defending Hitler anyway…

When I wrote this I was thinking, “12 is a little young to be online but I guess they could be”. No, turns out someone born in 2007 would be 18 right now. Yikes
- Comment on Inching closer to the grave every day 2 weeks ago:
People born in 2007 shouldn’t be old enough to be online yet…

- Comment on Is cops being evil/lazy/incompetent a USA specific thing, or is it the same everywhere in the world? 3 weeks ago:
My experience in the UK is similar. I’ve never had a good experience with a police officer, and I’ve been profiled for the clothes I wear, but I’ve also never been scared of a police officer (especially never scared for my life). I probably wouldn’t ask an officer for help, but I would also treat them like a person rather than a rabid dog who might just decide to shoot me

Imagine letting an email find you. Best tactic is to clear it from your notifications because you’ll deal with it later, accidentally forget about it for three weeks, and then it’s too late for whatever the email was about
- Comment on I watched Arrival (2016), there was a lot more to it than I was expecting 1 month ago:
Almost
Title
Memories are what get wacky. The main character (as well as the aliens who “arrive”) can remember the future as well as the past due to learning the alien language. It’s based on the possibly-not-linguistically-sound Sapir-Wharf hypothesis that says the language you speak influences the way you think. The aliens use a circular rather than linear writing system so they think of time in a non-linear way
