- Comment on What are your favorite "gotta go in blind" games? 3 weeks ago:
I wish someone had told me what Journey was about so I could have avoided it. I went in blind and didn’t enjoy it at all. It was a cool concept but it wasn’t for me.

We take rights away from people all the time as a punishment for their crimes. Why would this be any different?
- Comment on N.Y.P.D. Moves to Revoke Trump’s License to Carry a Gun 6 months ago:
Chapter 44 of Title 18 of the United States Code (U.S.C.), federal law bans convicted felons from possessing firearms or ammunition.
Yes he should have his license revoked, but he should also be barred completely from owning any firearms/ammo as I understand the law.
Not that the law gets applied to him the same as it would be applied to you or I…

- Comment on Why are pipes used in plumbing more than hoses? 1 year ago:
Pex is also resistant to bursting in the event of freezing. I used pex in my van build and the few times the pipes have frozen haven’t resulted in any issues other than having to wait for the pipes to thaw.
- Comment on Old pinball machines are amazingly complex 1 year ago:
Many pipe organs from the mid to late 1900’s use similar electro mechanical technology to take the key presses and actuate valves in the organ closet to activate the correct pipe. I’d love to see him do a video on pipe organs, they’re amazingly complex!
- Comment on Tossing Satellites into Orbit with SpinLaunch: Is that Possible? | Interesting Engineering 1 year ago:
I was wondering why they would care about firing shots into space, but then I realized that it’s probably not enough velocity to escape our orbit and would just add to the orbital debris issue.
If the velocity was such that the projectile could exit our orbit, it would probably be less risky.
There’s an interesting excerpt from one of the Expanse books about how all the rounds they fire from their space ships are probably going to travel through space for millions of years before they actually hit something.

Add Google/YouTube to that list as well! Google is enshittifying both Chrome and YouTube to prevent ad blocking.
