I did it in person when I was in like the third grade. A girl four years older than me in my neighborhood would sneak onto the elementary school playground and just take turns describing what our OCs were doing in the story while we swung on the swing set. I can’t remember any plotlines, only visualizations.

I’m not sure if that was a joke but I laughed. “I bet that guy roleplays” ‘Why would you accuse him of such heinous behavior???’

If you have a blog or memoir, I would love to peruse it
- Comment on Steam now warns about Early Access that have not been updated in months. 3 weeks ago:
What’s interesting to me about this and other features is that they all actually benefit Valve, as long as the EU/Australia require them to issue refunds upon request. Without refunds then these features are simply charity, but presently it’s good business.

Yeah they’re full of ‘critical support’ for anything that obstructs US foreign policy. Regardless of how many workers may die in the process. Amazing that they can call themselves communists and ignore revolutionary defeatism.
- Comment on Nintendo Switch 2 finally officially revealed 1 month ago:
Yeah with Nintendo watching two Xboxes languish and consumer discontent with the recent playstations as well, there’s not a real impetus for something radical in design. Some innovation would be exciting but the Switch and PC Handhelds prove people want big grippy mobile devices, even if they’re only moving between rooms.

Lots of Japanese open world games do. Monster Hunter comes first to my mind
- Comment on Coffeezilla does a third part of his CS:GO gambling expose...where he squarely puts the blame on Valve 2 months ago:
The single player is pretty good. You can also mod the single player to launch you into a separate online mode that doesn’t interact with R* servers. I don’t think there’s a way to sample GTA:O without signing in to the actual online mode. But like 99% of Twitch streamers for the game are playing a modded singleplayer version that lets them connect to roleplay servers

Yeah the only progression is in terms of gear really. There are some skills you can buy but they don’t seem to matter as much as a good weapon or shield.
- Comment on Frostpunk creators cancel "Project 8" and lay off staff amid concerns that "narrative-driven, story-rich games" don't sell 2 months ago:
Shit I loved Divinity Original Sin and the sequel, but even I don’t think Larian could match or exceed BG3

Outward is definitely not for everyone, but it felt to me like playing Morrowind for the first time. Not in the dialogue or character writing but in terms of looking at a weird thing on the horizon and asking myself ‘WTF IS THAT’.
- Comment on Indian start-up Yes Madam fires employees who indicated being stressed in the survey 2 months ago:
I did something similar to this but I misremembered the figure. So I got to watch my boss fiddle and fumble for the courage to say ‘actually it was only an X% raise, not Y%’
- Comment on Silent but Deadly: I met some of my closest friends through multiplayer games. Then a strange happening turned everyone (literally) speechless. 2 months ago:
It made dungeoning take less time. If it’s faster, it’s cheaper. Hazing endears the group to the new member. The inconvenience of hiking out to the dungeon after getting a group together, and reforming a group after someone left because the warlock couldn’t summon the tank in time to start the dungeon well before their dinner, was a shared trauma that helped the group cohese.

The biggest element you are not accounting for is time. It takes an unfathomably long amount of time for the benefits of random mutation to shape a population.

Ecstasy Of Gold is from the finale where Tuco is running through the graveyard. The only vocalizations are from a soprano and a masculine choir.
- Comment on Whomp-whomp: AI PCs make users less productive 3 months ago:
I got a razr because the zenphone got huge. What I didn’t expect to love are the big bezels on the internal screen (to allow it to close) they stop the fleshy bottom of my thumb from touching the screen, an issue I’ve had with previous phones.
- Comment on World of Warcraft adds $90 mount to in game store 4 months ago:
There was a green mount similar to this one they added in BFA for a large sum of gold. But they claimed to dislike how it encouraged so many people to play the market and removed it.
- Comment on Former Paradox, CD Projekt and 11-bit devs reveal new 4X strategy RPG that splices Manor Lords with Crusader Kings 4 months ago:
I understand why it can’t be multiplayer with how long the feasts and other events can run. But I love playing these games with friends.

- Comment on Anon plays Balatro 8 months ago:
FWIW the dev claims to hate gambling. Playing Cards and poker hands are just theming, as you visit the shop more things really get off rails, but even before that you have multiple hands to get the target score and multiple mulligans to shape those hands.

Given the state of DayZ I’m not confident it will be much more stable after they get out of Early Access.

Yeah he’s basically just a notch deeper than how I remember Shadow’s VA from Sonic Adventure 2.

Lots of young folks with time to dedicate to surfing were at the right age where lolrandom was peak humor. They were ripe to receive the shit posts of prodigious animators congregating on Newgrounds and Ebaums etc
- Comment on sleep paralysis 10 months ago:
This is consistent with my experience. I didn’t have a paralysis demon, but I was convinced my ceiling fan was plotting to kill me. Not that it was going to fall and hurt but that it was scheming to have me assassinated and would take matters into its own hands if necessary.

- Comment on CD Projekt Red still 'don't see a place for microtransactions' in singleplayer games 11 months ago:
CDPR could be a lot better with mods, they intentionally undercooked their mod tools to ‘protect’ DLC sales. Didn’t stop people from doing some wild things like replacing all combat with themed Gwent decks.
