I think I remember reading about something like that. The label on the back said processed apricot pits or something like that. But now that you mention it I think there was headline about the seed material used in exfoliating gels of the time never actually being cellulose or anything biodegradable.

People say Irish spring smells like a urinal cake, but I really liked when they put ground up seeds in their bodywash. It was like the cheapest exfoliating gel at the time

The point isn’t that capitalism is worse, but that it isn’t any better. Despite all the fancy clothes and powdered wigs there is still a class oppressing another class except now the oppressors enjoy far fewer violent deaths.

I think that’s Sims 3? So the game on screen might be a need for speed entry?

I had a similar experience with the final boss of the Elden Ring DLC. Tried to beat him like 200 times and then quit playing for several months.

No.
I remember a fellow thespian explaining it as a perverse take on being desired. It was hot for her that she seemingly turned [her partner] on so much that he did anything he could to access her. She then went on to say that if it was a stranger, and if she could tell they did it because of her allure, she believes she could forgive them. I quit that troupe soon after for unrelated reasons.

A woman at a house party saw my driver’s license after she asked for proof that I have two middle names and two last names. She saw my photo and said: “your neck doesn’t look anywhere near as long in real life” I knew it was a compliment, and I’ll never forget it.
- Comment on Is Baldurs Gate 3's voice acting so great that it ruined other games for me? 2 months ago:
They recorded some lines for the custom character. They think aloud when you approach the gith gank squad.
They also reverted a decision to have all the origin characters do a bizarre past tense narration that the narrator VA does present tense. Maybe they abandoned having the player character speak when they changed that course.

- Comment on why is EVERYTHINGGGGG behind a paywall? 2 months ago:
What’s infuriating to me is how casual the paywalls have become. Everyone wants a slice, even the folks who make cheat tables for singleplayer video games have an early access patreon. If you’re not getting a paycheck you better make it a side hustle.
Don’t forget to tip your friend when you laugh at joke, they aren’t doing it for free.

I did it in person when I was in like the third grade. A girl four years older than me in my neighborhood would sneak onto the elementary school playground and just take turns describing what our OCs were doing in the story while we swung on the swing set. I can’t remember any plotlines, only visualizations.

I’m not sure if that was a joke but I laughed. “I bet that guy roleplays” ‘Why would you accuse him of such heinous behavior???’

What’s interesting to me about this and other features is that they all actually benefit Valve, as long as the EU/Australia require them to issue refunds upon request. Without refunds then these features are simply charity, but presently it’s good business.

Yeah they’re full of ‘critical support’ for anything that obstructs US foreign policy. Regardless of how many workers may die in the process. Amazing that they can call themselves communists and ignore revolutionary defeatism.
- Comment on Nintendo Switch 2 finally officially revealed 4 months ago:
Yeah with Nintendo watching two Xboxes languish and consumer discontent with the recent playstations as well, there’s not a real impetus for something radical in design. Some innovation would be exciting but the Switch and PC Handhelds prove people want big grippy mobile devices, even if they’re only moving between rooms.
