Religious faith is equatable to blind unwavering belief and trust.
That is absolutely NOT equivalent to a scientific theory that resulted from the scientific method of analysis and discovery

I know you got paid to be there, but still. A country without a military, even in times of “peace”, is a scary thing. Especially given the direction the world is heading these days… sure you sat behind a desk but who knows what you may have been needed to do if called upon in a worst case scenario, and so for that I say thank you for your service 🙏

It’s very far from a sure thing that that fat demented fuck will survive the next four years, based on his shitty state of health, the history of strokes, poor diet, coronary issues, etc.
Declining health and dementia is a rough combination and there’s only so much medical science can do for people like that who have no interest in changing their lifestyle.
Now with that said, this fucking piece of shit planet seems to always ensure the good die young and the evil never fuck off so who knows.
- Comment on Interview: Alex Kurtzman on Section 31 and the "evolution" of Star Trek 10 months ago:
I have to stick with classic trek (everything from Enterprise and earlier) as there isn’t an option.
Is strange new worlds really that untenable for kids? Maybe a few eps? But surely not Lower Decks???

Cool and then you and your family and loved ones starve, don’t get the medical attention and maintenance they need, same with meds, emergency services, etc.
Don’t forgot you’re one of the fucking morons living inside and depending on the society you’re gleefully imagining collapse. So many innocents will be killed just from the fall of all of these services and whatnot.

He’s just copying Raegan again like he did with maga. He had project Star Wars so Trump gets SG
- Comment on The Stargate situation is crazy... Elon vs Altman beef intensifies | Fireship [3:33] 10 months ago:
It makes perfect sense, Trump has stolen many things from Raegan, such as MAGA. This is just Raegan’s Star Wars but better in trumps mind by going with Stargate
As an SG fan myself, I hate it.
- Comment on Is it wrong to not have a disabled child solely to avoid forcing the child to suffer their whole life? 11 months ago:
And you tell your child when they’re suffering from a life long birth defect/disability that there was only a chance they could’ve ended up trapped like that.
I’m sure that will help them feel better and the rest of their life coping will be so much easier!
- Comment on Is it wrong to not have a disabled child solely to avoid forcing the child to suffer their whole life? 11 months ago:
Exactly this, you know the child will likely inherit and suffer but the parents want a kid so all that suffering the kid will be forced to endure and be trapped in a living hell… well that’s just fine!
To a lesser extent I see having kids in a world like this as similarly selfish.

- Comment on A Nation of Homebodies: A recent study shows Americans are spending notably more time at home, a trend that started long before the pandemic. 11 months ago:
What would you even do? Read a book, play a game, browse your phone, or something in these public spaces? What’s the difference between at home and in a public space with people?
People always talk about public spaces as if magically they would pull people in simply by existing and everyone would socialize with anyone else that showed up. That’s not what happens in reality though, because there are still public places in America and yet here we are anyway.

Same here but also, when a series is starting to get old when you’ve rewatched too much too recently or whatever, those “bad” episodes can be a fresh experience due to consistently avoiding them lol
