  In your defense, there’s a lot of social pressure to go to BYU within the Mormon church, and most high school kids don’t have the experience and knowledge to navigate the official and unofficial propaganda. I just happened to luck out that my parents pushed me not to go to BYU

  To me, blaming overpopulation for the world’s problems always comes across as saying “I don’t want to change my lifestyle, and if there’s 6 billion fewer people, I won’t have to”

  Genuine question, do other countries refer to their current government as “this administration” or “the [leader] administration”?

  In my exposure to non-US political discussions, there seems to be more reference to the majority parties or coalitions, where that’s more important to politics than it is in the US with our far-too-powerful executive branch
