This makes me more determined to keep maintaining my old non-computerized appliances.
- Comment on Forgot a number in my address... 2 days ago:
There was also some sort of Chrome autofill for the Organization field that put people’s SSN in there. We resorted to naming the field “chromeDontAutofillThis” but we still see weird data in there.

Yeah like is that her actual leg on the left side?
- Comment on Meta: “We're Still Investing Massively In VR Gaming And Don't Plan To Stop” 5 days ago:
Everyone has a FB account whether they created it or not, and I’m sure Meta found a way to link their VR headsets to your account even if it’s not obvious.
- Comment on PC gamers spend 92% of their time on older games, oh and there are apparently 908 million of us now 1 week ago:
The most expensive game I’ve bought recently is Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries, which came out 4 years ago.
- Comment on I love popcorn. 🍿 Do you love popcorn? 🍿😄 1 week ago:
It lets you satisfy your urge to eat a whole lot of something while not being very bad for you.
- Comment on Which co-op first person shooters would you recommend? 2 weeks ago:
Ghost Recon Wildlands is one of the best. Not sure about the DRM situation.

I was wondering what Jennifer Grey was up to these days.

- Comment on Zelenskiy news is a farce and it is infuriating to see Goebbels' Garbage here 3 weeks ago:
Yep if Trump wanted those minerals so bad (borderline extortion) why did he and his lapdog immediately fuck up the meeting? Either he’s stupid (entirely possible) or it was a setup and they never planned for the deal to go through. Maybe trying to get further concessions from Ukraine.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 weeks ago:
The exposition kills my interest in Bond movies usually. Plus after the into scene and long credits they usually spend 30 min or more on the Moneypenny and Q stuff. Give me a Jason Statham movie.
I did like a few of the Daniel Craig Bond movies though.
- Comment on Emulating PS2 for my Steam Deck, would love any recommendations! 3 weeks ago:

- Comment on SteamDB now lets you filter out Steam games with AI Generation 4 weeks ago:
That’s good because a large number of demos in the Next Fest had goofy AI logos.
- Comment on How is my bedroom being heated? 4 weeks ago:
It can be heat from surrounding units, especially those below you. Heat rises. There is a 15 degree difference between my upstairs and downstairs sometimes.
- Comment on How does this pic show that Elon Musk doesnt know SQL? 5 weeks ago:
The ignorance of Elon is truly concerning, but somehow the worst part to me is Elon calling someone a retard for pointing that out.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 month ago:
I think it’s safer to just send them a simple email saying you traded that car into a dealership (on whatever date if you have that) and also that was never your license plate number. That should be enough for any reasonable person to fix it. If you ignore it they might start adding charges on and it will get worse.
- Comment on Valve ban advertising-based business models on Steam, no forced adverts like in mobile games 1 month ago:
I read that games with ads were already banned from Steam a long time ago. That explains why we don’t have more junk in the Steam store. Judging by how many never completed early access asset flip games there are, it would be a complete cesspool with ad-supported games. Good decision by Valve.
- Comment on "The insultingly low salary you would have accepted is still too high." 1 month ago:
They probably want single people that live ten to a flat and can afford to work for 30,000 a year.
- Comment on Is Civilization 7 not fun? 1 month ago:
As others have said, play Civ 5. Better game with all the bugs worked out, and cheaper.
- Comment on Ah shit here we go again. 1 month ago:
Every time I receive a bill in the mail I’m like “This is every month now?”
- Comment on Are mods usually confusing as hell or am I just an idiot? 1 month ago:
YMMV but as a long time mod installer I find the UI of Vortex more confusing than manually modding most games. But if the UI clicks with you then yeah it would be a lot easier than manual.
- Comment on Why do some people assume all immigrants are illegal and should "go back to where they came from"? Shouldn't that logic apply to all non-Native Americans? 1 month ago:
No it’s the brown ones. They wouldn’t look twice at a pale person like Musk.
- Comment on Why do some people assume all immigrants are illegal and should "go back to where they came from"? Shouldn't that logic apply to all non-Native Americans? 1 month ago:
Yeah we better start coming up with some paperwork that our great great grandparents were legal. At this point I’d be pretty happy to be deported to Germany.
- Comment on Google's AI is using past tense to describe a sporting event that takes place in 3 days. And it knows who won too. 1 month ago:
This sort of generative AI is a bullshit generation machine. I truly am impressed by the natural language it uses in the answers, but don’t trust the information at all. As AI LLMs train on the lhtpot of other AI it will only get worse.

I don’t think it’s coop. I would have played it coop if it was.
- Comment on Cyberpunk 2077: Patch 2.21 1 month ago:
Because I like to see the art that the game artists made, not AI interpretation of what should be in-between the frames. I’m not hung up on framerate, as long as it’s stable and above 30 I’m good.

Also Sniper Elite 4 and 5, and The Saboteur. The Saboteur has boobies and we can all agree on boobies.
