- Comment on Harassed by Assassin’s Creed gamers, a professor fought back with kindness 9 hours ago:
Exactly. And empathy is not a weakness, it’s a strength. Blindly hating things is weakness and ignorance.
- Comment on Spotify 30 minutes of uninterrupted... Just kidding 1 day ago:
10,000 songs on a SDcard in my car.
- Comment on How come id Software / Bethesda have never sued Bungie / Microsoft over the similarity between Doomguy and Master Chief? 1 week ago:
Doom guy (from Doom 1 and 2) is derivative of Ash from Army of Darkness, down to the facial expressions, the chainsaw, and the shotgun.
- Comment on Has anyone told MAGA they are free to shut themselves off from the rest of the world all on their own. Honestly they do a pretty good job of it already. 2 weeks ago:
No they want to “win”, to force the rest of the world into their way of thinking because it’s so obviously right.
- Comment on Skyblivion fan project lead reacts to Oblivion remake news with "all love and no hate" 2 weeks ago:
How does it not? It is the same game map, same missions, even the same character names. You just know the corporate bros would hate an alternative to their paid remaster that is basically the same thing.
- Comment on Skyblivion fan project lead reacts to Oblivion remake news with "all love and no hate" 2 weeks ago:
Yeah, it’s all cool until Bethesda or their owners issue a takedown.
- Comment on Nintendo ‘warned to expect 145% tariff on Nintendo Switch 2’ 2 weeks ago:
These tariffs shouldn’t be 145% of the retail price, they should be 145% of the wholesale price.

- Comment on Forgot a number in my address... 1 month ago:
There was also some sort of Chrome autofill for the Organization field that put people’s SSN in there. We resorted to naming the field “chromeDontAutofillThis” but we still see weird data in there.
- Comment on Holup 1 month ago:
Yeah like is that her actual leg on the left side?
- Comment on Meta: “We're Still Investing Massively In VR Gaming And Don't Plan To Stop” 1 month ago:
Everyone has a FB account whether they created it or not, and I’m sure Meta found a way to link their VR headsets to your account even if it’s not obvious.
- Comment on PC gamers spend 92% of their time on older games, oh and there are apparently 908 million of us now 1 month ago:
The most expensive game I’ve bought recently is Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries, which came out 4 years ago.
- Comment on I love popcorn. 🍿 Do you love popcorn? 🍿😄 1 month ago:
It lets you satisfy your urge to eat a whole lot of something while not being very bad for you.
- Comment on Which co-op first person shooters would you recommend? 1 month ago:
Ghost Recon Wildlands is one of the best. Not sure about the DRM situation.

- Comment on Zelenskiy news is a farce and it is infuriating to see Goebbels' Garbage here 2 months ago:
Yep if Trump wanted those minerals so bad (borderline extortion) why did he and his lapdog immediately fuck up the meeting? Either he’s stupid (entirely possible) or it was a setup and they never planned for the deal to go through. Maybe trying to get further concessions from Ukraine.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
The exposition kills my interest in Bond movies usually. Plus after the into scene and long credits they usually spend 30 min or more on the Moneypenny and Q stuff. Give me a Jason Statham movie.
I did like a few of the Daniel Craig Bond movies though.
- Comment on Emulating PS2 for my Steam Deck, would love any recommendations! 2 months ago:
Katamari Damacy
Mercenaries
DOA 2
- Comment on SteamDB now lets you filter out Steam games with AI Generation 2 months ago:
That’s good because a large number of demos in the Next Fest had goofy AI logos.
- Comment on How is my bedroom being heated? 2 months ago:
It can be heat from surrounding units, especially those below you. Heat rises. There is a 15 degree difference between my upstairs and downstairs sometimes.
- Comment on How does this pic show that Elon Musk doesnt know SQL? 2 months ago:
The ignorance of Elon is truly concerning, but somehow the worst part to me is Elon calling someone a retard for pointing that out.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
I think it’s safer to just send them a simple email saying you traded that car into a dealership (on whatever date if you have that) and also that was never your license plate number. That should be enough for any reasonable person to fix it. If you ignore it they might start adding charges on and it will get worse.
- Comment on Valve ban advertising-based business models on Steam, no forced adverts like in mobile games 2 months ago:
I read that games with ads were already banned from Steam a long time ago. That explains why we don’t have more junk in the Steam store. Judging by how many never completed early access asset flip games there are, it would be a complete cesspool with ad-supported games. Good decision by Valve.
- Comment on "The insultingly low salary you would have accepted is still too high." 2 months ago:
They probably want single people that live ten to a flat and can afford to work for 30,000 a year.
- Comment on Is Civilization 7 not fun? 2 months ago:
As others have said, play Civ 5. Better game with all the bugs worked out, and cheaper.
- Comment on Ah shit here we go again. 2 months ago:
Every time I receive a bill in the mail I’m like “This is every month now?”
- Comment on Are mods usually confusing as hell or am I just an idiot? 2 months ago:
YMMV but as a long time mod installer I find the UI of Vortex more confusing than manually modding most games. But if the UI clicks with you then yeah it would be a lot easier than manual.
