I mean it’s math if you take out a $160k mortgage for a $200k house today it’s gonna be right around $1000/mo
- Comment on Anyone get this? 6 days ago:
Yeah all the time, people are just dumb and willing to look past obvious red flags just because someone acts confident. I mean we literally have a name for those people “con man” short for “confidence man” a man who exhudes confidence while scamming people.
And yet, everyone just likes confidence even when it’s an obvious narcissist pos and then two years later they’re all crying to me “can you believe Geoff would do that?” And im like yeah it was pretty obvious and you guys kicked me out of your friend group so fuck you too.

It’s all bullshit guys, like on the other side we have to pay $1500 a month rent because the bank doesn’t believe we can afford a $1000 a month mortgage.
- Comment on Why does it feel like most art museums are for adults and most science museums are for kids? 1 week ago:
I mean yeah that’s the popular opinion based on OP premise. No opinion is ever going to be universal but you can take a poll and see which ones are more popular than others.

Idk you gotta let that go, different people find different things boring. I studied some art history doesn’t tickle my funny bone in the slightest and that’s perfectly OK.

Yeah, you send one car first and have the other ready. It’s insane to send 20 cars instantly for an unverified anonymous tip.
- Comment on Why does it feel like most art museums are for adults and most science museums are for kids? 1 week ago:
Because science is fun and art is boring lol, like asking why the bouncy castle is for kids and why the conversation about traffic is for adults

if a group gangs up and tells everyone with a slightly different worldview to fuck off, then they eventually will and said group will be all by themselves in their own echo chamber. If that’s the goal, then fair enough
Yes, that’s the goal. It’s a bunch of crazy people who want to be mean to anyone who disagrees with them. I don’t like it so i blocked it so I can’t see it. Maybe i have to ban mildlyinfuriating because people share these grad posts i dont like to see.

Idk about netherlands but you’re trying to single out china versus the west and the largest western country is far less free than china. If you say European, sure, quite frankly I have no clue about Netherlands incarceration, I’ll take your word for it. But if you want to talk about “the west” you have to answer for how your theory applies to the single largest western country.

And yet they have fewer people in prison than the US with four times the population. All these horrible things about china and yet they incarcerate people at a quarter of the rate that the US does.

So, really the problem was about Einstein saying that if Bohr is right then there is information moving faster than the speed of light. Einstein wasn’t saying that he didn’t believe it, but rather if true, then it violated the speed of light in a vacuum. Bohr seemed to actually not understand what Einstein was trying to say, so he interpreted it as Einstein trying to tell him he was wrong.

In cishet world it’s the pretty much only way to compliment another male stranger without risking sounding gay
- Comment on [deleted] 3 weeks ago:
Being tild you’re a lucky guy to have the girl you’re with is pretty much the height of cishet male-to-male compliments. There’s literally no compliment I would rather receive, and it’s pretty deeply ingrained in our culture.

there’s several caesars, slim shady nobody else has that name, Charlemagne is French for Charles the Great, and Attila was antiwestern so they wouldn’t name him “great”

Watches have always been a status symbol
Sure but we have phones now. Doesn’t matter what your status is, you dont need a watch. It used to be a status symbol as being a person who needed to keep track of the time because you were busy. But nowadays that’s nonsense.
