  There is no evidence I have seen that Valve supports 3rd party market places, and like I said the steam user agreement explicitly forbids them. There is nothing illegal about their own market place.

  Steam wallet funds expressly have no monetary value in the steam user agreement, and it explicitly states in the steam user agreement it’s against their tos to sell items off of their market. So they are covered. Second hand markets exist but it’s without valves support or consent, they aren’t breaking the law. A court can’t compel valve to restrict user freedom (trading digital items) because they don’t shut down websites that they have no ability to shut down.

  I don’t think that’s how the law is written though. You can only get steam wallet funds for your skins, steam wallet funds explicitly have no cash value. The transaction at that point is done. A video game also has “real world value” you could just as easily say well I get steam wallet funds and than sell gifted games to other people. I don’t think your argument tracks with the law or steams suer agreement.

  They are brining up the good argument that this would essentially make baseball and pokemon cards gambling and illegal as well, I’m not a lawyer but with the way the law is written and from my understanding of it valve had a very good chance of getting this dismissed or wining in court.

  Gotta start somewhere. De-googling takes time and even if you never fully get there, just cutting off some of the big services that they harvest your data from like Gmail and Photos is a great first step.

  Pixel 9 with Graphene OS. I don’t really bother with backups besides my personal photos since there’s nothing critical on my phone. But I use immich for photos hosted on my unraid server.

  I do have two backup Raspberry Pis, one at my house and one at a friend’s, that my photos and other critical data is backed up to daily.

  I don’t think that’s possible to do and be healthy and happy, lol. I only get four to five hours of sleep on my work nights due to my long commute and I’m pretty tired and use both of my breaks to sleep in my car.

I love it. They have an easy to follow tutorial for setting up your own domain names to work with their email

  I play a lot of tf2, it’s the only video game I play really. Especially in the morning time, it feels like a lot of the players are a children who suck ass at the game. It’d a popular game with kids cause it’s free to play, and it’s also the best game ever so can’t blame them.
