I think you’re more likely to get injured in a car accident than have an issue from eating a medium burger.

This, and if you’re downloading a large game, it might take a few months over a TOR.

Lmao this hits home, my caffeine intake has slowly been creeping up on me cause of my job and commute and I have like five or so double shot Americanos a day now.

This aint AI bud, someone already provided source website and also look at the text on the parafilm. Image models are getting much better at text but all that small text on the parafilm packaging is too good for ai

I’m hourly and make a good living wage, are you implying that hourly means you don’t work full time or should be entitled to a livable wage?

I’m also in the bathroom, but the TP is on my right and to the left is the shower. No objects that aren’t attached to the building. So, that’ll be hard.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In the sample size of the few fat people I know IRL and their family’s that’s not true, at least for the people I know. Unless we’re counting mental illness as a medical condition, which is fair because they are.
- Comment on doctors 2 weeks ago:
exercise is simply not possible for a lot of overweight people.
I’m not fat, but that seems simply untrue unless the person is fat due to a serious disability in the first place. Maybe doing intense exercise isn’t possible, but fat people can absolutely start with small, little exercises and work their way up over months or years.

While vaping inside places where it is not allowed can be annoying for others, I would still prefer that over being stuck next to somebody who reeks of cigarette smoke even if they aren’t actively smoking.
Atleaat the vape smells nice usually

- Comment on What's the point in getting married? 4 weeks ago:
There aren’t many benefits, I’m committed to my partner and we’ve been together for 7 years now. She’s my life partner. Getting married doesn’t offer much that you can’t already do with other legal documents, such as getting the same rights to them in medical situations as you do with marriage. Tax benefits maybe
Neither of us want to get married because it does nothing for us, were already each others partners, even if we did, after marriage I would still refer to her has my life partner instead of wife.
Plus her very religious family desperately want us to marry and we both want to keep denying them that pleasure as early on in our relationship they were adamant we would split up if we didn’t get married before living together.

True on it being subjective, but if you were regularly using you probably had a significant tolerance, unless you were taking 2+ week breaks between each dose.

Probably not.
“Eight individuals who had accidentally consumed an exceedingly high amount of LSD, mistaking it for cocaine, and had gastric levels of 1,000–7,000 μg/100 mL LSD tartrate and blood plasma levels up to 26 μg/mL, had suffered from comatose states, vomiting, respiratory problems, hyperthermia, and light gastrointestinal bleeding; however, all of them survived without residual effects upon hospital intervention.[7][109]” - en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD

- Comment on Anon is worried about men 1 month ago:
All bad things that humanity has caused and will likely continue to make worse. No sugar coating that. However humanity has a knack for survival, and we are capable of what is basically magic with modern day science.
I don’t have a prediction for the future but I know when push comes to shove and we’re forced to take action to survive we will find a way. How I wish we would take serious actions to correct the bad we are doing before that though.

My commute is 117 miles one way :(, return to office has really fucked me. I won’t be moving anytime soon but am working on getting a job closer to home.
- Comment on Anon is worried about men 1 month ago:
xD agree on that point
- Comment on Anon is worried about men 1 month ago:
For our lifetime maybe, but on a larger scale that is relevant to humanity as a species the trend down isn’t even visible.
Again not trying to mitigate human suffering today, but I do really take issue with people dooming all the time.
- Comment on Anon is worried about men 1 month ago:
I imagine you will continue to get disliked and I will as well, but the world isn’t over and it’s not going to end for a long time. People are always going to claim doom in their current time.
No matter how fucked everything is in the world right now, we are, on average, still significantly better off than almost every other human in all of existence.
- Comment on Amazon accused of using algorithms to push warehouse workers to breaking point 2 months ago:
As Evotech said already, they churn through their tier 1 workers at a breakneck pace anyway. Pushing them harder won’t make the issues worse, it’s already bad. Plus they are continually striving to automate everything possible, so eventually many low level jobs at the warehouse will be automated
- Comment on Hexadecimal 2 months ago:
Closed AI sucks, but there are definitely open models from American companies like meta, you make great points though. Can’t wait for more open models and hopefully, eventually, actually open source models that include training data which neither deepseek nor meta do currently.

Corpo llms have no balls. It’s sad but Grok is one of the best in this regard, also Chinese models are generally less censored (as long as you don’t count questions regarding Taiwan)
