I’m pretty curious (read: leery) about the post-launch monetization. Does the game feel complete or did they obviously hold things back for the battle passes or whatever? Will I have to pay in to enjoy things like a level cap increase?
They were pretty clear about going HAM on paid stuff after launch, and the game is already priced super high, so this might end up being a sale pickup for me.

I also hate, and this is another compounding factor, the complete lack of enemy HP bars.
IIRC, HK1 had a badge that turns these on. I’m not far enough into the new game to have found this yet, though.

Okay, so isn’t that exactly the same situation as the Xbox, but then the Xbox gives you the additional option to actually expand the hot storage?

Are you able to expand the PS5’s storage with just a normal USB 3.0 drive?

LOL. We’re not talking about a “hurry up” kinda dude here. His development story is wild. It’s a miracle that he ever actually released Stardew.

I might double-dip on Legacy if this is a legit remaster.
Not sure that the original will see much benefit vs. the existing Blu-ray, but then again HDR can be a hell of a thing. - Comment on Atari has acquired five Ubisoft games, including Child of Eden and Grow Home, and will re-release and ‘evolve’ them | VGC 2 weeks ago:

I’m really sad to watch this slow-motion train crash continue to play out. Subnautica 2 was a guaranteed hit thanks to the strength of the first game, and somehow the new studio owners have completely fucked that to pieces. Truly a masterclass in snatching failure from the jaws of success.

Cadence of Hyrule is fun as hell. Gotta fix that on the list.

Same. I love this game when I’m looking for something to chill with. Relaxed mode (with the timer off) is the way better way to play.

You would need a 4K/UHD Blu-ray player, too. The Panasonic DP-UB820 is generally considered the best buy - it offers a good balance between performance and price.

It’s for true(ish) and not even that expensive. Plenty of subwoofers will produce frequencies around 20Hz, which is typically regarded as the lowest humans hear.

- Comment on Founder of Arkane Studios: "I think Gamepass is an unsustainable model that has been increasingly damaging the industry for a decade"; impacts sales 2 months ago:
What’s “short” about the short-sightedness, though? I’ve been a Game Pass subscriber for something like 8 years and it’s still crushing it as far as services go - probably moreso now than any year prior.
Will it last / remain a good deal forever? Nope. But nothing does/is. Might as well enjoy the great variety of games I’d never purchase (like Blue Prince, Arcade Paradise, Shipbreaker, South of Midnight, Expedition 33, etc.) along with the convenience of access to games I totally would pay for (like THPS 1+2, Gears, Diablo, etc.). Plus the built-in rewards subsidize like 1/4 of the cost.
When (not “if”, when) they jack up the price to a point that’s not worth the games or I don’t have enough time to play to justify the spend, I’ll just cancel.

Microsoft doesn’t expect anyone to pay $80. They expect people to sub to Game Pass instead.

Do you have to run the keyboard’s software?
I have a Corsair K100 and it does all the normal keyboard stuff without any software even installed on my machine. Also, the RGB lighting can run from on-device memory, which is super nice.
