  So I was going to make a joke about the peace and v signs by using the “peace be with you; and also with you” thing but have it say “Peace be with you. And also ‘fuck you’”. But then I was thinking, what if I said “up yours” instead because it’s a more direct reference and less offensive. But then I realized it doesn’t match anywhere near as well in syllables/sound.

  So, long story short, my question is which one would be funnier/more appealing? Seriously, I genuinely want to hear opinions

  …if they’re above average, I think they’ll figure out the explicitly defined variable. I think the instructor is trying to make sure this problem doesn’t require a calculator and figured defining pi as 5 makes it clear that you can treat it as a whole number. 3 would be more accurate and just as easy, but meh idk that this is that great of a blunder.

  Ah yes of course, how could one possibly assume unkindness of someone just because they’re a Nazi. It’s just short for two common words, surely we can’t assume genocidal intent or otherwise fairly criticize anyone for something so trivial

  I’m showing my bias, I hope not to offend: how does someone understanding/expert in enough math and science to become an astronaut still believe that the magic sky man cares what direction he bows in during prayer or when he eats? If it’s cultural significance I can understand that, but otherwise I just can’t comprehend how you can have such a dissonance between empiric study/career and fundamentalist religious belief
