While the work could be outsourced to foreign countries there is still some hurdles to overcome. Language barriers, cultural barriers, time zones, labor laws, the paperwork involved with taxes, worker reliability, the threat of scams (see N. Korea), etc. But hey, let them find out for themselves.

The alien was Elvis. I hope he comes back. What I miss the most was multiplayer. Playing with four people and bots that you could issue orders to, all the multiplayer modes, the weapons and their second functions (laptop gun torrent), and I think it had multiplayer campaigns. Also all the extra objectives during campaign mode to unlock more missions. Fun times!

Tips would probably go to the company. They’ll get their’s no matter what.

You had me up until one way interview. I don’t respect any hiring manager that cannot face me in an interview. Never do one way interviews because there is no opportunity for the candidate to interview the company.

You wooly for 20 jobs on Indeed. The ones that respond want you to do a one-way interview so they can discriminate against you without facing you.

I don’t know who some of these tech workers think they are to have the audacity to think they have a say in what someone else “deserves”.

Its not like the companies can just replace them with cheap labor. Tech requires skills that are built over years of dedication. These companies wouldn’t even be able to get foreigners to replace the tech workers because 1) language barrier, 2) culture barrier, 3) legal barrier (taxes, labor laws, etc), 4) immigration barrier, 5) time to onboard and learn the codebase. Then it would inevitable lead to unmaintainable code because these companies will want the work to be done yesterday and see no value in maintainable code.
