As an infosec person in the US, I think this is a very smart move on their part. Every country should treat every other country as adversarial from a cybersecurity perspective. People are already highly opportunistic with physical resources, and exponentially more so with digital resources and information.

My guess is that because English is such a mish-mash of other languages and has a lot of contradictory rules, the double-o in loose is how most people would guess the way to spell the “o” sound in lose. To people who haven’t been told otherwise, lose probably sounds similar to hose or dose in their heads and “oo” looks more correct despite being wrong.

Its amazing how much of a problem lose vs loose has become lately. But yes, OP should change it to “loses.”

4chan has a pretty hard and fast rule of contrarianism, in large part because thats what keeps posts from falling off the front page.
They don’t use votes there, posts that get replies move to the front page and fall down until they hit 10th page and disappear if they don’t get any.
As a result, 4chan will go against whatever the largest voices in modern culture are saying, which for over a decade have been the left wing/liberal ideology. Before that, they were very left-leaning because we were in the Bush era where culture was very traditional/right leaning.

If you want it to read as “a hundred,” you simply write out in letters “a hundred” (without the quotes).
If you want to say “one hundred,” you can write 100 or “one hundred” (without the quotes). Typically shorter numbers in the single or double digits should be written out with letters and then switch to numerical representation above that to be considered “correct” by some academics.
Finally, if you want to write “a one hundred,” simply write “a 100.”

I did this recently, scared the shit out of them and they quickly found a spot to turn off and park. I think they thought I was trying to do some kind of pit maneuver to get behind them or something, when I just wanted them off my ass.

If it helps, for all fairness, the Nintendo, Sega, and Sony consoles were all Japanese, so NTSC was their native target before getting converted to PAL. It may not be what EU kids remember growing up, but NTSC is technically more “correct” from that perspective.
With that being said, always use PAL filters with PAL versions of games and NTSC filters for NTSC versions.
- Comment on Anon is chasing an old high 10 months ago:
Incorrect, you need a good NTSC filter. Scanlines on their own are hotdog water.

Its a pretty common fetish these days. Many women install Sims mods to allow it, for example. (This may also be possible in the newest game out of the box, I stopped at 3)

It may be easy to see out of from the inside. I have some days where there’s no way I’m driving, and other days where there’s definitely frost but I can see enough detail that I can drive at-parity with days where there’s no ice. I do try to get it gone as much as possible, but some days thats not feasible.
