There’s still 37 years until the time of The Jetsons! Lots of time for all that yet.

Oh yeah, that was definitely the sound on the demo! Wow, quite the nostalgia hit there. I can’t find a video of the Def Jam 2 version. I’ll have to make one later.
- Comment on EA reportedly to be sold off for "roughly $50 billion" to go private 5 days ago:
Reminds me of when I had a demo disc for Def Jam: Fight for NY. The demon loaded up with a girl’s voice saying “E. A. It’s in the game.” When I bought the full game there was a huge surprise when the girl grew up and a very deep male voice was used instead.
I miss the old EA. Ain’t going to support whatever it is it has turned into.
- Comment on Nintendo Doubles Down on Palworld vs Pokémon Patent Lawsuit ‘Mods Don’t Count as Real Games’ 1 week ago:
Man, how did I not know that? I was mostly thinking of the Duke Nukem line: “I ain’t afraid of no Quake” when coming up with games that clearly use the same mechanics but didn’t go around suing each other. And Duke Nukem 3D was obviously based on the FPS games that came before.
- Comment on Nintendo Doubles Down on Palworld vs Pokémon Patent Lawsuit ‘Mods Don’t Count as Real Games’ 2 weeks ago:
It’s so stupid too. Imagine if there was this fight when Doom came out suing Duke Nukem 3D and Quake. The industry thrives on iteration.

I completed just about everything in the game about 6 months ago. Looks like there’s a bunch of new content that I’m looking for to! I’ve been waiting for 1.0 to boot it up again.
- Comment on Nintendo now has a US patent on summoning characters and making them battle for you | VGC 3 weeks ago:
Specifically, the patent describes a situation where:
- A console or other system is being used to run a video game from storage
- The player controls a character in a “virtual space”
- The player can perform an input command to make a “sub character” appear (i.e. summon another character)
- If there’s an enemy where the sub character appears, the player can control a battle between the sub character and the enemy
- If there’s no enemy where the sub character appears, the sub character will automatically move around
- The player can move the sub character to a different location on the field, and if an enemy is there they can control a battle between the sub character and the enemy

- Comment on Any good Android games that aren't roguelikes? 1 month ago:
I use Mini Review for most of my android game finding. I find that if they give an overall score of 8 and above, I almost always like the game.
I’m currently enjoying the idle clicker Magic Research 2 It doesn’t feel like most idlers. There’s monsters to fight that need some strategy and a pretty good plot where I actually read everything! Most games have plot that is so boring and rehashed that it’s not worth reading, but Magic Research 2 was a lot of fun. I played the demo a bit and bought the full version before running into whatever limits were in the demo.

I’ve been using the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse for a while now and the software has been alright. Lets me use my mouse across my desktop and laptop at the same time. It’s been alright, but I go to check out my button mapping settings recently and saw “AI prompt builder” and sighed at how stupid that is. I really really want hope the adding of AI to everything is a fad like Pogs, but I somehow doubt it.

Careful there buddy. The US hasn’t legalized it, only certain states have. That means you can’t travel around with it in the US even if you bought it legally.
Canada legalized it though.

The Sunlit Man was so good. I love books that have fast pacing right from the start, and trying to figure out how the world worked was so much fun.
- Comment on The USA spends $15k/student annually which is 30% higher than the global median. Why do U.S. schools have "fundraisers" where kids are incentivized to sell stuff to people? 4 months ago:
Also the sort of things the schools spend money on. I don’t know from experience, but I think US schools pay for police officers to be at the school. That seems crazy to me, and expensive.

The Connors went on that long? I’ll have to check it out. I figured with Roseanne having gone off the deep end it wouldn’t hold up much longer.
