Goodbye.

You seem to be pretty focused on this so I would again invite you to re-read what I wrote if you care that much. If it still confuses you, try reading it again because I’m fresh out of additional shits to give today.

Yeah actually I’m done arguing with a stranger about socks. White socks being the norm hasn’t been my experience. If that upsets you, I guess you’re going to have to find some way to come to terms with that. Sorry friend.
- Comment on Why it is that in the USA for most people the default color for a casual sock is white but in most other places the default is black? 1 week ago:
That’s pretty likely, plus if you’re traveling and forget socks, the cheapest ones to pick up are usually white.
That’s not to say nobody wears white socks, they’re pretty common, but most socks I see aren’t white nor do I usually wear white socks.

Read what I wrote again.

That is most definitely a well established thing in the US going back decades: I can’t count how many house parties I’ve been to where they had red Solo cups.

I would challenge your assumption: White socks are not the norm in the US, especially when you’re wearing something with visible socks or are dressing up.

Yep, 100%: Don’t come between a nerd and their gaming rig.
- Comment on Is gaming better as a kid or an adult? 2 weeks ago:
As someone who once worked 3 jobs and went to college full time while also being a parent, that poster came off as a wildly ignorant asshole. Possibly a clueless child or a troll? IDK, but damn.
- Comment on Is gaming better as a kid or an adult? 2 weeks ago:
Maybe you should collect your shitty, entitled, poorly informed take and just fuck all the way off? Again, you clearly have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. You’re either a troll or an entitled moron.
Speaking of time management, this concludes our conversation. Goodbye.

You know nothing about me and your response reeks of being an entitled asshat. Do you even have kids or a career or do you just live in mommy’s basement?
- Comment on Is gaming better as a kid or an adult? 2 weeks ago:
Yeah, because the priority is not becoming destitute lol
- Comment on Is gaming better as a kid or an adult? 2 weeks ago:
Personally, gaming was a much bigger deal to me as a kid. I still play as an adult, but they just don’t evoke the same feels as they did when I was young. Probably doesn’t help that I am stressed, tired, and have a million obligations distracting me, but that’s adulthood for you.

Yes some do sometimes, but talk to your gyno: That’s something they can probably help you with.

Yes and yes.
It’ll happen repeatedly.
It’ll be a good thing and it will be a bad thing.
Growth brings more content and communities but there’s a point where popularity can start to hurt the quality or authenticity of the communities.

I keep mine on almost always, runs fine so I usually don’t bother turning it off.

Sure you can! Keep writing, read as much as you can, but also be sure to go out and live. Lived experiences are important, and if you don’t have a lot of them, your writing will be worse off for it.

When you get the replacement, you might want to avoid pairing it with anything else first just to be safe. Good luck!

- Comment on Is the "everyday stuff" supposed to feel normal? Do y'all just have a parent do things then when you're supposed to be the adult you panic? 2 months ago:
That seems kinda normal-ish: You just have to figure shit out for yourself if you haven’t already been taught. Ideally, your parents should teach you, but the flip side is you can’t teach someone everything and you can’t even know everything yourself. It’s more or less part of growing up and having anxiety over it is pretty normal IMO.

I don’t see this replacing my Steam Deck, but it might open up some impromptu gaming here and there.

I would say so, yes.
