This timeline sucks.
- Comment on Do you stay on vpn 24/7 or turn it on whenever you need it? 6 days ago:
I keep mine on almost always, runs fine so I usually don’t bother turning it off.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
Sure you can! Keep writing, read as much as you can, but also be sure to go out and live. Lived experiences are important, and if you don’t have a lot of them, your writing will be worse off for it.

When you get the replacement, you might want to avoid pairing it with anything else first just to be safe. Good luck!
- Comment on Help using a page turner on Kobo Libra Colour 3 weeks ago:
Any chance that remote in particular just isn’t compatible with your model maybe?
- Comment on Help using a page turner on Kobo Libra Colour 3 weeks ago:
Can you try resetting it and your Libra, then trying again?

“We want you to pay your fair share of taxes to maintain the system you enjoy the benefits and protection of” = slur?

- Comment on Is the "everyday stuff" supposed to feel normal? Do y'all just have a parent do things then when you're supposed to be the adult you panic? 5 weeks ago:
That seems kinda normal-ish: You just have to figure shit out for yourself if you haven’t already been taught. Ideally, your parents should teach you, but the flip side is you can’t teach someone everything and you can’t even know everything yourself. It’s more or less part of growing up and having anxiety over it is pretty normal IMO.
- Comment on “I genuinely feel GameNative could replace handheld PCs like the Steam Deck” — Inside Android’s Fastest-Moving Gaming Project, GameNative (my article!) 5 weeks ago:
I don’t see this replacing my Steam Deck, but it might open up some impromptu gaming here and there.

I would say so, yes.

- Comment on If I got in a collision with a car from the 70s with a car today, would not the 70s car win out since it would primarily be metal? If so why don't people buy more 70's cars? 1 month ago:
The car might sustain less damage, however, the occupant will receive more damage. People buy newer, safer cars, presumably because they like being alive and would prefer to keep doing that.
Modern cars are designed to break before their drivers do, because you can’t replace you, but you can buy a new car.
- Comment on Does the engine a game uses factor into your decision to buy it or not? 1 month ago:
It can if the engine makes the game run poorly (I wouldn’t buy it) or not at all or if the engine is exceptionally well regarded and runs great it might make me a bit more inclined to buy the game.
If it’s an engine famous for being janky, it might also make me delay buying the game until devs or modders fix it.
Also, if the engine is known for being mod friendly, that would probably make me more inclined to consider buying the game.
- Comment on What would/could the US government actually do if they found out the real identities behind all the "guillotine memes" that people post online? 1 month ago:
You say that, but all of their bullshit cases are constantly crashing and burning due to their own incompetence. Even when stuff makes it to a jury, their cases tend to fair poorly most of the time.
- Comment on So, how many of us see Moopsy when we look at the Artemis mascot *Rise*? 1 month ago:
Yeah, that was my first thought lol
- Comment on What would/could the US government actually do if they found out the real identities behind all the "guillotine memes" that people post online? 1 month ago:
Yeah, if they choose to do legally questionable or outright illegal stuff that needs to be fought and defeated in court or we’re in for some grim times.

Legally? Not a damn thing because it’s protected speech.

He wasn’t, there was no such thing at the time and he refers to himself as a Jew in the bible. Christianity wasn’t named until after his death.

They most certainly did: What do you think Easter is? Why do you think Christmas is in December when Jesus was not born during the winter? Many native pagan holidays were basically transformed into the modern Christian holidays you know today.

- Comment on Do YOU consider Kanji difficult? 2 months ago:
English. I hated learning French and don’t really know it, but I’m going off of what others who do speak French have told me.
- Comment on Do YOU consider Kanji difficult? 2 months ago:
Spanish and Portuguese would probably be easier to learn than English, same for French. If you knew German and/or English, Dutch might actually be a little easier than you’d think!
The amount of entertaining media out there definitely works in favor of English though, I have to agree with you there.
- Comment on Do YOU consider Kanji difficult? 2 months ago:
You are the first person I’ve heard say English is easy to learn.
