Innuendo in my ass.
If I’d seen this post a few minutes earlier it could have been Good Old-fashioned lover boy in my ass, and a bit later would have been I want it all in my ass.
The Queen back catalogue is full of winners for this game.

Yes, she knows there’s a chicken in there. She’s just unaware that a select few of us are onto her.

My favourite bible passage is the one where Moses goes to see Pharo, and tells him that the Jews are trying to form a union.

So, if someone were to crash the moon into the earth to stop it escaping, as many as 1/12 of the population could experience a reduced quality of life?
Might need to consider not doing that I suppose.

I’m in the UK, the supermarket is less than 10 minutes away by car, but it seems impossible to spend less than an hour in there shopping for a family of 4. There’s a smaller shop in walking distance, but everything costs more there and it’s not economical for a weeks worth (not to mention the more limited range).
My solution is to pay the big store to pick it for me, then I just collect it. Cheaper than delivery, they’re the ones sat waiting for me and if there’s a sub I don’t like or something I forgot, it’s just a quick visit, not an odyssey.
Still use the local but just for top ups if needed - Comment on Voyager 1 7 months ago:

I updated mine a couple of weeks ago. I was actually really anxious as It went through the process, but it worked fine, at first…
Then I found out Microsoft considered it a new computer and deactivated windows. (And that’s when I found out they deleted upgrade licences from windows 7 & 8 back in September) - Comment on Anon revisits early youtube 7 months ago:

And the underlying animal is still there too. It’s fully in control at birth, and gets drowned out as we mature (for some people, less than others).
Small children are little more than animals, which is why they’re so unreasonable.
It’s my belief that the reason the written word or things like clocks are usually unreadable in dreams, is because the animal is both illiterate and innumerate. Dreams are the animals understanding of our waking experience. It knows these patterns are important and how they relate to other things, but it has no fucking idea what any of it actually means. - Comment on geoengineering 7 months ago:

- Comment on Anyone else travel to see the eclipse just to have clouds come in right before totality? 8 months ago:
In 1999 I spent a week in Cornwall (south western tip of the UK), staying in a spot right in the middle of the path of totality for the eclipse that summer. Every day, glorious sunshine, even got a bit burnt. Except one day. Day of the eclipse was thick clouds horizon to horizon. Ended up watching the BBC coverage from an aircraft via a 3" portable TV.
Did get to see the approaching shadow over the ocean, so at least that was pretty cool, but still disappointing.
Don’t think I’ll have another opportunity in my lifetime unless I travel internationally specifically to see one.

True, I was near Lands End, and seeing the shadow emerge over the horizon and rush towards us across the sea was pretty intense.

I’m also in the Midlands, so I won’t see it either.
I was in Cornwall for the '99 eclipse and I didn’t see that one as well so at least I’m keeping up with tradition. - Comment on he loves the jungle 8 months ago:
