I think it is also worth making the point that this far right-wing group masquerading as feminists is often dishonest about what content is in the media that they are targeting in order to effect its removal (and generate support from clueless individuals on social media). Just because they told the payment processor the platform was full of visual depictions of vile filth doesn’t mean that is what they were really targetting in their removal demands to steam, resulting in removal of things that indirectly referenced event of a sexual nature, not just hentai games. Dipshits on reddit keep framing this as defending rape.

MS Teams: you are out of office Me: excuse me what? I am right here, with nothing on my calander to put me in the out status. Teams: nope, not there. Out and offline. Me: I’m right here! changes status twice to prove it Teams: since you are clearly not present, I’m going to do updates. restarts Me: 🤬 Teams, already restarting: OH THERE YOU ARE!

I don’t buy physical objects and then agree to not own them. I don’t even like that shit with digital goods. I don’t need someones authorization to “allow” me to use what I buy as I see fit. If buying isn’t owning than pirating isn’t stealing.

Anyway their “philosophy” seemingly changes whenever convenient. No slander or misinformation there just sucky reality. You replied to someone mocking actual junk they at least pretended to believe at one point so I wanted to point out they actually have said things like this, coz I legit thought you didn’t know. At that time your other reply calling out their hypocrisy didn’t exist yet.

It’s tough if no impossible to find now, so I don’t blame anyone for not knowing or veliving this to be the case whole google results are dominated by more recent events involving more recent emulation cases. But they have litteraly in the past made the false claim that emulation itself was an illegal practice. Then later they pretend they never said that and people like yourself never see it. I’ve seen emails from the big N’s legal team making the claim, but it was over 20 years ago. I just have a long memory…

or the history of nintendo falsely claiming that emulation itself was an illegal practice when trying to bully and scare people into submission…

Reminder that Nintendo is to Japan as Disney is to the USA.
We can only speculate what patents are involved, might be legit might not but it doesn’t have to be legit and the actual patent they ibtained could be nonsense, they just have to power to bend someine over a chair because they felt like it.

I’d stop spending all my tome on trying to survive and poor all my hours into work I want to do instead of have to do. I have a ton of stuff I’d actually want to do that are very definately work but I can’t make a living doing it, so I don’t!

Gog has support problems on some windows games too. Also they mark games run via dosbox as windows, which is annoying when you specifically want to find an older windows game that also had a dos release. Even with those issues, gog is still my goto because at least my games won’t be full of denuvo securom etc. and nobody else seems to remotely care about the really old harder to find games. I’d be scouring ebay fo old discs if not for gog.

- Comment on Small children are well known to be afraid of voids (closets, under the bed) in their sleeping area. Knowing this, why don't we design children's rooms to eliminate them? 1 year ago:
My 1st thought is that may need these minor fears to learn how to deal with fear itself and as part of developmemt they’ll likely just be a fraid of something different instead.

I think at a minimum if you stop publishing and supporting your own work you shouldn’t get to cry copyright whem somebody else does. For that context 10 certainly seems plenty long…
