I actually just use the cold even in my own bathroom. A bit of frosty water cools the O-Ring after a meal with a biiiiit too much hot sauce, or when that slight lactose-intolerance flares up.
But the heated seat on a good quality bidet… that’s amazing

Degenerate poultry hentai
Excuse me sir/madam, but I’d request that you respect the preferred literary sub-genre of some without resorting to terms such as “degenerate”. Poultry Hentai may not be overly popular and only have a niche following, but it truly is an art form in and of itself. Whether it’s “2 hens, 1 cob” or the better-known “Lady Chick&Lee’s Lover” it truly does represent a formidable contribution to the art.

Trying to figure out where Dr Doom would fit. Supposedly he does have a doctorate but it came from Latveria so could be a bit… biased

iGPU’s can use system RAM to supplement VRAM. Might still be doable

Well, the funny thing is… it IS somebody’s job, and they get paid for it. There more they push “self service” the less workers they’re hiring and paying wages to, and the more your ever-increasing grocery bill just goes to pad some executive’s bonus so they can buy a bigger boat or whatever.
- Comment on Nintendo's lawsuit against Palworld isn't just bad for the industry, it's bad for Nintendo 1 month ago:
Meh. Even small corps often do something well once and then fall to the wayside.Nintendo has been pretty good at recreating their core IP, whether it’s the 3D version of Metroid on GC or open-world Zelda on Switch.
If they’d actually bought out the Palworld IP (assuming that was an available option) that would have meant cash for the devs and a way to work with it in a way that was unique but inclusive to the Pokemon franchise. A lot of people are getting tired of the latter because it has become rather stagnant, but the new mechanics with the official Pokemon characters/stats/etc could have benefitted both
Nintendo doesn’t do that though. They don’t go “wow, this looks cool and there’s real interest. Maybe we could work with the dev and make it an official product. They’ve done most of the work already!” It’s lawsuits all the way

Outdoor temperature in °C, unless you’re talking about an outdoor pool then it’s often enough °F :-)
I think part of the reasons it’s so mixed might just be due to how many Amero-centric devices and parts are common between the two countries.
Y’all can take your shitty Phillips screws though. Roberts is by far superior ;-)

Yeah, it’s funny that they’ll accuse the same people whose favorites include the early Terminator, Alien, Matrix, etc movies of being sexist against strong female roles.
Sorry, but no. I loved the original Ghostbusters because of the chemistry and skill of the original actors. Weaver, Hamilton, and Moss were right up there in my favorites along with Schwarzenegger, Reeves, and Stuart.
Stuff like Ghostbusters (2016), or The Marvel’s aren’t bad because of female leads, they’re bad because of bad writing it acting and also because trying to successfully follow a massively popular series is hard, which is also why latter Terminator/Alien/Matrix/Batman/etc movies tends to be an uphill - losing -battle, nevermind if you’re replacing part of what made it popular.
But it is still possible to capture the magic with the right mix of old and new, which is why “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” managed to crawl back from the grave after the 2016 attempt (with a young female lead, because that lead was very talented in her role and had a good script to act from)

I have to say this too:
Plot wise, it’s actually not great. Overall, I’d say The Eternals had a deeper plot.
But the thing is, it’s not trying to be deep. It’s not trying to come up with a gotcha that makes you think, but it sure as hell DOES make you laugh.
ENTERTAINMENT wise, this movie earn every fucking penny from myself and everyone in the theatre with me. It was a riot, and there was laughing, cheering, and a great time had by everyone.
Speaking of “fuck”, I’m pretty sure that Marvel-Disney had a jar somewhere containing every instance of that word they didn’t use in their other movie, and that they just tipped the jar over for this one and went wild. Hearing Jackman in a role where he can actually dear was surprisingly entertaining in and of itself.

*Planed/straight wood versus raw lumber. It threw me off when I first started building stuff and summed that a 2x4 was actually 2"x4" in all my measurements/plans
*Or it would be straight if you’re lucky and don’t pick from the top of the bin at Home Depot

- Comment on You know how bad it needs to be to be ignored for over 2 decades! 9 months ago:
There’s also a lot of other stuff that changed over time. New appliances may be more efficient, run on different (more environmentally friendly) coolant, have lead-free solder circuits, etc.
The thing is, a lot of that old stuff which was found to have health or environment issues also lasted longer. Leaded solder didn’t get burrs, for example. The components may also have been easier to repair.
But there’s also survivor bias. For every old freezer that sat in grandma’s basement for 2-3 decades many more ended up in a scrap heap.
