- Comment on Just Watched Cloud Atlas (first time) 5 months ago:
I loved the book, but avoided the movie because I heard mixed reviews and didn’t want it to sully my opinion of the original material. I think I might give it a shot finally

Yes, and milk was the singular reason they were able to. Turns out those Got Milk commercials had it right all along
- Comment on Lots of times the restaurants won't even have milk 5 months ago:
I’ve drink milk as an adult on occasion, but it’s absolutely not something I buy or regularly have in the house. I’d say in the last 10 years, I’ve only ever bought it if a recipe calls for it and a substitute would be unwise. Milk by itself is gross
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 6 months ago:
Just like with everything else that people make into a lifestyle or part of their identity. Most are cool, but there’s always a vocal minority of dillweeds that take it way too seriously or use it to judge others that aren’t part of their pack.
- Comment on I like this text. In which Lemmy community can I best share it ? Thanks. 6 months ago:
Salinger is a classic example of this. One of the most celebrated authors of all time. He really only wrote one full novel and then essentially disappeared from public view. Despite this I don’t think anyone would consider him a failed writer by any definition

Yes. I have some very, very helpful feedback. Feedback that would fundamentally change your whole life. It would transform your world-view and make you a better person. Not just interpersonally, but also within your true self, helping to transcend your own ego, soaring, TRULY SOARING beyond the bounds of what you once thought possible.
Take my hand. If you dare… to embark on this journey with me. DM me for further instructions.

You’ve managed to pack such a dense amount of bad takes, self-delusion, and misinformation into a single post that I’m actually impressed.

WELCOME TO THE FUTURE!
Has a human race, we have developed such amazing technologies over the last 30 years. It’s staggering. My political ideologies don’t really skew much near communism, but holy shit. This is the closest I’ve come in a long time to cracking open my copy of The Marx-Engels Reader in long time

This video is excellent. The guy’s attention to detail, respect for the original process, and presentation style are all off the chart. The same can be said about most of his videos. He’s a total pro and does not fuck around when it comes to the quality of his productions
- Comment on Porn is harder to access 1 year ago:
I like porn. I’m a fan. But I’m with you on that. If I want it, I know where to get it. It’s not really why I’m here.
Also, it really ruins it for me that because it’s all user -contributed, it feels like being recommended porn by a creepy, off-puttingly thirsty highschooler. Given the demographics in places like this, that may actually be somewhat close to reality

- Comment on is this funny? 1 year ago:
It’s not funny to me. It gives me a real “1980s standup comedian” feeling, if that makes sense. Like it was written by someone who is funny, but very out of touch
