I’m just your average Canadian wolf. I’m a siren enthusiast and railfan as my main hobbies. I run the Civil Defense Sirens Wiki, and am working on restoring a few vintage sirens (such as a FS&S Model L and a rare Sterling Siren MOD. F) as well as a 1970s Safetran mechanical crossing bell.

Oh, probably. And at the very least the Colorado museum also has the Delhi wigwag which does still work thankfully. The IRM has a ton of really cool crossing signals too for sure.

I’m really hoping the Colorado museum gets their wigwag fixed one of these days. Poor thing lights up but doesn’t swing, probably needs new electromagnets.

We had the Food Pyramid here in Canada, which is very similarly a lie pushed by the dairy and grain industries and not linked to any real health benefits.

The ice zone (Southern Shelf) is only the very beginning of the game, you reach more interesting areas after defeating the first major boss, Captain Flynt.

Slop has existed as a word far longer than AI has. Uses for the word slop include:
-
Unappetizing watery food or soup.
-
Spilled or splashed liquid.
-
Waste food fed to farm animals such as pigs.
-
Soft mud or slosh.

Denuvo is hardly even a deterrent at this point. So many games are releasing unfinished and broken that pirating it right when it comes out would just be a waste of time. It’s only by the time Denuvo is removed later on that the game may be in a more playable state and thus worth bothering with.

- Comment on if charlie kirk is so pro life then why is he dead? 2 weeks ago:
I doubt he had any time to think. He was killed instantly while doing a “debate” so his mind was probably elsewhere before it ceased to exist.

Took a nap before he died, woke up to find out he got blasted. Quite the surprise!

Making the internet as easily accessible and dumbed down as possible didn’t help. It let stupid people easily find each other and reinforce each other’s beliefs while isolating themselves from reality.

The terrorists ended up winning the long game in the end. They caused America to tear itself apart from within and made it a pariah on the world stage.

Exactly! And like cancer, it will eventually consume and destroy its host. It may take time, but it will.

These people are genuinely sick in the head, this level of pointless greed is not normal. Of course they aren’t going through with it.

They certainly are. They have some of the steepest adhesion railways in the world on those mountains.
- Comment on Expand North! So much room up there. 1 month ago:
And the Trans-Siberian railway has existed for years, is thousands of miles long in awful conditions, AND electrified. We don’t have an excuse.

A lot of people take failure personally, and become scared to even try in the first place. Failure is seen as shameful, rather than a learning opportunity to better yourself.
