I love this chart. Because pasteurization is a result of capitalism, not food safety. The EU doesn’t pasteurize their eggs because their chickens are vaccinated against salmonella. The USA does not vaccinate their chickens because it would hurt Big Agriculture and all their egg pasteurizing factories.
We have to pasteurize milk because of the awful conditions of factory farming - where disease is rampant. Again, this is a result of capitalism. And again, you can see drastic difference in the products in the EU vs the USA. Some EU cheeses are required, by law, to use raw milk. It’s safe there.

I wanted to get BG3, but the constant deep throating by neckbeards is making me gag. Now I don’t want it for the same reason bigots won’t play TLOU2: politics.
I’m sure BG3 is fantastic. It’s also not a reason for people to tell me why I shouldn’t enjoy the games I do.

It’s weird seeing people who think they are entitled to piracy. Appeal to emotion all you want. It won’t work. Boo-hoo. Poor college kids. You are still not entitled, legally, to copyright infringement. Creators and published DO OWN their intellectual property. Your attempts at logical fallacies are embarrassing.
Explains how it’s OK for you to not pay an artist for their creation when they do not offer that art for free.

It’s not good enough that they can still access the instance on another account.
They want piracy to be a socially acceptable and a “mainstream” concept. That’s why these chodes post it in mildly infuriating.

There is absolutely something illegal about copyright infringement. “It depends”, and there is content that is legal. But there is a lot that is illegal. Legality depends on the location of the user.
If I’m an American and I pirate a movie made by Warner brother’s, that illegal.
I know, I know. There’s a million reasons everyone feels entitled to break their local laws. That doesn’t change reality. Tell it to a lawyer and them have them convince the admins it’s a great idea.

There’s no “it”. The amount of businesses that can technically function using remote workers is a MINORITY of total businesses. Retail worker’s can’t work remotely. Surgeons can’t work remotely. Farmers can’t work remotely. Students should NOT learn remotely. My company can’t manufacture things remotely.
Yea, accountants, bankers, wall st, programmers, etc can work remote. But their bosses don;t want them to, and now they are fighting. They are not the majority. The thing these people have in common is MONEY and a cushy lifestyle. That’s being disturbed, so now you have to hear about it. The money controls the media.

Why do ISPs own the rights to public telephone poles and prevent municipal internet? Because people like you gave the ISPs those rights.

Cycling around on a trusty steel bike which you can repair yourself is environmentally friendly. Buying a new carbon fiber bike every few years because it is 2% more aero than the last is not.
These are not the only options. Carbon fiber is superior to steel for the purpose of making a bicycle. You could buy 1 carbon fiber bike and ride it for years.

OP doesn’t have the emotional intelligence to understand that I can think “big tech” does a lot of bad things, but I can still personally use their products to make my life more efficient. I have accepted the risk. That doesn’t mean I agree the risk should exist. More than 1 thing can be true. What a crazy concept.
