I’m just being a little pedantic here, but Canada is only about 100k miles or so bigger than the US and much more of Canada is unlivable unless you count Texas as being unlivable, because I do.
There’s also about 10x as many Americans as Canadians.

Oh nice, much more southern Oklahoma than southwestern Oklahoma for sure, but I’ve been there a few times

What city was this in? I grew up in southwest Oklahoma and a lot of it looked like this

I checked the original post text 3 separate times because I was so convinced Elon Musk wrote it. It sounds like this dude is Elon Musk on an alt account, it’s so eerily similar to how he talks about technology.

Those are called thongs in some countries, but not tongs afaik. Also the US doesn’t call them thongs, so this is for those people confused by this. Tongs are those things that are kind of like chop sticks but joined at the end so they can grab stuff - usually from hot places like a grill or stove.

I don’t shake air fryer fries at all and they’re still better, but I live in the US where convection ovens are very uncommon in households. That’s why air fryers are so popular here.

So far they’ve literally ended every update video with something like “And there’s more to come!”
- Comment on Yeah UPS, that's proof 1 month ago:
Btw if you have Apple Maps, it’s decently easy to submit an address correction, they usually update with corrections within a week or so. Google maps is also easy enough, but they seem to take a bit longer to correct.

OpenAI also does this with its image generator, but apparently not to such a powerful degree.

She’s not suing him, she’s threatening to by sending a cease and desist. Anyone can send a C&D to anyone for any reason, they don’t actually do anything until action is put behind them.
This is actually an important distinction, because if she does sue him it’ll be really interesting to see the actual legal reason behind it.

The gym one is a pretty solid idea, I dig it. The others feel like they were done for the memes (the gym one probably was too, but definitely the guy crossing the street).

The show was made by a conservative, but it suffers from the same problem Rick and Morty suffers from: just because somebody is the protagonist, doesn’t mean they’re the good guy. But you want to put yourself in the shoes of the protagonist, so you mentally try to make them into the good guy. So when Archie Bunker is a misogynistic racist, it makes you feel bad, but the point is he’s not a good guy, it’s just hard to separate yourself from the character by that time.
- Comment on Flying used to be this magical, miraculous thing! 4 months ago:
You don’t even have to be that rich, there are semi private flights that remove so much of the frustrations of flying, and anyone can book them. It’s an incredible experience, but it’s usually about $200 more than a first class ticket on a commercial flight, and they’re limited by availability and destinations.
Still worth doing at least once.

This is why OP and others are being downgraded. They were grandfathered into the old price at the warning that they would have a downgraded experience in the future, and right now is the future.
