  Only regarding the episode indexing, not a new show like the difference between Classic Who and nuWho.

  Apparently, Disney believed that starting at S14 would be off-putting to potential new viewers to the show (feeling that catching up would be too daunting), so they reset it to S01 for their streaming service.

    Fuck Disney. They’re gearing to buy the show when the Tories axe the BBC even more.

    Yep, but even my softwarre separates it as a different series. I understand all of that, but it is still, for all intents and purposes, a new Doctor Who series.

  I did not know that. I checked out about 2 seasons into Capaldi after watching the new series religiously and haven’t returned primarily due to difficulties finding places to watch it, although now more due to young kids who i have to schedule around
