That’s a very workable plan. Thank you.

So how could she have broken with Biden as the current VP?
She sides with Palestine, so she supports Hamas? She doesn’t support Israel? She supports Iran too!?
That’s just the tip of the media iceberg that would have been thrown at her.
Let’s say she does that. Do you think with the numbers that DJT turned out that she’d have gained so much more than she would have lost that it would have made a difference?
Let’s further say that she did, and it was, and she won the election. She’s now thrown a long-term, strategic ally under the bus on the world stage. Not only that, she’ll have to forcibly disarm them, potentially feeding them to the wolves in the Middle East.
How does she politically recover from that? ALL of that?
And please don’t mention “genocide” in your reply. That’s already a know variable in play.
Can you (or anyone) provide a politically viable path through the above ‘top level’ landmines which would have gotten her into the White House and into a position where she could take direct action to stop the genocide?

Hell the poster may want to slide a few junk mail pieces that didn’t have a SASE with them into the ones that did just to get rid of them as well!

While you’re there try the Apple Fritter! It’s like monkey bread* made with apple cinnamon bits, then deep fried and dipped in glaze.
*=Monkey Bread is just pull-apart bread made from large chunks of dough.

I’m not a fan either, but according to Apple their main News posts are “curated” by staffers.
Therefore it’s not an algorithm that can filter out certain topics and sites per your preferences. If they decide a post is newsworthy in the main area, and it just happens to be from a blocked site, you see that.

I’m not going to pretend I have my finger on the pulse of ‘gays everywhere’ but I’ve never heard, read, seen, or experienced that word being used as anything other than the common usage for a food item.

The town I grew up in had a college and a university! I don’t think my parents bought us kids any new furniture until my dad built his own woodworking shop. I was a teenager by then!
We always got new mattresses, because NO FUCKING WAY was mom letting us sleep on a used, adult’s, student mattress. (I never knew you could stain them, that way, in those amounts…)
My sister still has a beautiful solid oak desk…

My divorced mom was a big fan of TOS, so much so that I was almost named Kirk.
Being divorced w/ 3 kids the TV was a pretty good babysitter. Something to keep us distracted while she did cooked and cleaned.
I’ve seen every episode of TOS at least 20 times, over the years, so remembering the first one is impossible. However as a kid my favorite one was the one with Gorn!

Altercation at Arlington National Cemetery
WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump’s campaign was warned about not taking photographs before an altercation at Arlington National Cemetery during a wreath-laying ceremony earlier this week to honor service members killed in the Afghanistan War withdrawal, a defense official told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

- Comment on [Discussion] What did you think of Matrix 4? 3 months ago:
It was just okay. (Spoilers ahead!)
The overarching story that “love wins” I felt was nice, but the way it was handled really diminished Trinity’s role/value. No longer a bad ass herself, she’s now just there to support the male lead.
The reusing of the original character tropes, down to their names(!), wasn’t great. Easier to explain to the audience I guess, but severely lacking in originality.
Cool special effects, as always!
If I remember correctly the line that summed up M4 was spoken by Trinity (paraphrased), “That’s the horrible thing about selling your ideas. Once the company has them they can do whatever they want, whether you agree with them or not.”
Which was a weird line in the context of the movie, and makes me believe that Warner Bros. was going to make M4 regardless of what the Wachowski sisters wanted, or thought of the script. So one of them signed on to salvage what they could.
I enjoyed it, but won’t be rewatching it anytime soon.

Pick a good bread that’s low in fat & sugar, and high in fiber, and pair it with a glass of milk to ensure a complete protein is formed with the PB, and you’re good.
Add in sliced banana for some sweetness, and toast that bread first (so your PB gets gooey) for a real treat!
- Comment on Is there a "canvas" of the universe? Do we even know? Would a canvas follow the same laws as the paint? 6 months ago:
The ‘canvas’ which everything else resides upon is currently thought to be Quantum Fields: Quantum Fields: The Real Building Blocks of the Universe - with David Tong.
A Field is something that permeates the entire universe. There’s thought to be a field for every particle in the Standard Model. Electron, photon, charm, up, etc. A particle forms when the field is excited, and these particles interact with each other to form the universe.

Speculation but: Children.
If you have something that looks like a pool they’ll go swimming.
The ladder gets them out and the humps give them a place to stand in the middle to keep their heads above the water line. Their arms get tired very quickly.

Then no, there’s eight (8) “Case Files” in total so we’re just halfway there.

- Comment on You teleport into the last game world you played. What happens next? 1 year ago:
If by “game world” you allow TRRPG’s then it’d be Golarion (Pathfinder 2e) and last nights game was “Case File #4” where a creepy leather bound book (the ‘Dark Archive’) keeps appearing and transporting us to various other places to fight undead.
#4 was an abandoned mansion overrun with undead that we needed to clean out. Fuck almighty almost every room was a combat session!
So to be teleported there I’d just run away. Even if I could find a suitable weapon I’d not survive more than one encounter. Not worth throwing away my actual life for some stupid book!
- Comment on PLEAAASSEE PLEASE COME BACK TO THE OFFICE PLS 1 year ago:
But how do you define “productive”?
I work from home and I get the same amount of work done. However if you define it as, “Doing X amount of work in Y amount of time,” then yeah I’m less productive because nowadays instead of getting that work done in an 8-hour shift I take about 10–12 hours to do it.
Same work, same day, so my productivity hasn’t changed. I just take longer to do it by taking breaks, going out to long lunches with friends, and my stress level is almost non-existent!
I find that to be a very equitable trade-off: Almost no job-related stress for a slightly longer working day.
