Dave The Dover: you run a sushi restaurant and go diving to catch fish. The writing is quietly, it’s full of interesting characters and there’s no time limits. I’ll spend day just fishing for the restaurant instead of doing any “story stuff”. I picked a steam key on CDkeys for £7 and I can already see myself pouring 40 hours in this thing if I want. Yes. For me it comes down to two things:
- Do I get on and have fun with this person?
- An I attracted to them?
I don’t think you need to be so specific with your requirements. If they don’t like Anime, then that shouldn’t be a deal breaker. As long as they’re not forcing you to stop watching /liking those things, you can like different things.

You can change that as a default in steam settings for all Games. Would be cool if they detected the OS and enabled it automatically based on that

If your using steam, you can go into game properties and set Proton as the compatibility tool. Depending on the age of the game, you might have to switch versions of Proton.
You can use www.protondb.com to check the compatibility issues and suggested versions by the community for specific games too.
