- Comment on Good game soundtracks? 1 day ago:
Same artist who did the music for TUNIC. While its soundtrack isn’t great to listen to alone in my opinion, it is phenomenal in game. To the point where watching the trailer gives me goosebumps.
Also, I emailed the artist once to ask permission to use the Dustforce soundtrack in a YouTube video I was making. They gave me permission and I sent the video to them when it was posted and they said very nice things about it.

That’s interesting. I didn’t know that. I tried working with Waydroid once on Bazzite on an older desktop of mine and didn’t get terribly far with it.

The Deck is what have me the confidence to move to Linux on desktop. I wouldn’t have switched if not for Valve.

EVERYONE deserves a liveable wage, including the people you mentioned.

I get that, but they deserve to be paid a livable wage like everyone else.

A high effort to profit ratio would mean a lot of effort for a little profit.

I’ve always been too much of a cheapskate curmudgeon to pay for food delivery and I’ve been increasingly baffled by people who pay hundreds of dollars a month to have cold, soggy fast food delivered at an eye watering premium.
I get laziness, I really do. For me, personally, going to pick up food is the lazy option.

Just a preface that I don’t like PoE.
Season 4 is a lot more fun, but I still think D3 is a better game. But if you compare D4 to what D3 was like at after release, D4 is in much better shape. It’s definitely heading in the right direction, and I suspect that the expansion in August will make it much better, similar to how D2 and D3 did.
Back to season 4, I leveled to max level, maxed out the battle pass, and experienced all of the content and that was good enough for me. I want really interested in sticking around to switch to better build and get the best gear.

Yeah, no systemic issues at play here. Just the majority of Americans being individually shitty for purely personal reasons.

The Comedian was my favorite character from Watchmen. Not because I think he was good, misunderstood, or any kind of role model. I just found him very compelling.

I got an N100 with the same specs for $160. It’s so good.
- Comment on Has ethernet become illegitimate? A librarian flipped out after spotting me using ethernet 2 months ago:
I guarantee that a librarian would have helped you if you told them you didn’t have your phone on you.
I don’t buy your story because you’re trying to paint yourself as a victim of some nefarious scheme when in reality you wanted to use a free service in a way the provider doesn’t allow.

So the protected class they are discriminating against here is “doesn’t want to use wifi”?
You had the means to access the Internet, you choose not to use them.
- Comment on This farming sim sits at the bottom of your screen while you kid yourself you're doing other things 2 months ago:
The idea of this bothers me. It makes me think of the dual videos on Tiktok that people watch because their attention spans have been so blown out by overstimulation that regular videos bore them.
And that’s probably hypocritical of me because I often play a game on one monitor and a video on the other.
I dunno.
- Comment on Dwarf Fortress - Adventure Mode Beta Trailer 3 months ago:
It’s very different. I’ve only just created a party and watched some tutorials, but I have a general idea of what it’s going for, and it’s nearly the polar opposite of fortress mode.

It looks good. The bones of NMS are easy to see, but there’s enough new to make it exciting.
- Comment on My incisions from ankle surgery have hit the itchy stage of healing and it's driving me crazy 8 months ago:
You could try a trick I use for mosquito bites and poison ivy.
Run some hot water. Just right on the edge of too hot to touch. Put the itchy part under that running water.
It will feel like the most intense itch, but also relief at the same time (assuming it works). It only takes maybe 5 seconds to work. Afterwards, the itch stops for a couple hours.

I didn’t believe you. So I looked it up. I had no idea how hot cremation was. What a waste of energy.
