I’ve heard food banks and some eastern religion temples like Buddhist and Sikh temples will serve free food for the needy.

Depends on what your situation is. For me the thing that dealt mental hp damage was that my parents lived in suburb that is far from everything
- Comment on Why are male social workers so different? 1 week ago:
It may be that the gender difference is magnifying any social/communication issues that are already there because of being ND. I know I’ve always found it harder to make myself feel understood by women compared to men, and I’m also autistic.
I’ve observed that both genders have different communication styles they expect to use, both with the same gender and with the opposite, and these are all the sort of dreaded unwritten social rules that we tend to struggle with as NDs. So a man tends to expect to conduct himself a different way with another man versus with a woman, and a woman expects to conduct herself a different way with other women than with men. The difference is subtle and mostly subconscious from what I can tell. Most people don’t realize they are doing it, but NDs are often paying attention to different things than what NTs are in terms of body language, word choice, social cues, etc., so we pick up on it more, even though we don’t always understand it.

She also tried a points system - follow on insta, buy merch, buy CD, get points towards early access so actually fans get tickets for a lower price. She got done for favoritism.
There really is no winning once your fanbase grows over a certain size. That’s why I prefer to go see only C-list or locally/regionally famous artists live rather than trying to go see A-listers live.
- Comment on The Lie That's Destroying the Economy - Adam Conover 1 week ago:
I’ve heard economists say that Ticketmaster is a useful scapegoat for a lot of natural problems in the music industry. Taylor swift is selling tickets for what seems like a reasonable price, but the laws of supply and demand say they are worth far more. Taylor doesn’t want to sell her tickets for closer to what they are actually worth since it would make her look like a price gouging jerk. Anytime in economics you have a mismatch between the price something is being sold for and what someone is willing to pay for it, there’s an opportunity for money to be made, people will take that opportunity if they can, and in doing so the price will tend toward the true intersection of supply and demand.

The only great Star Wars film to come out since the original trilogy was Rogue One.
I wholeheartedly agree. The prequels are funny in a campy way but they don’t really feel like Star Wars. And the sequels feel like a parody of the original trilogy rather than actually building on them. Rogue One feels like it fits perfectly into the original trilogy.

It definitely still feels like it’s in EA. There’s only one map and there are a ton of buttons that do nothing. But the game is aesthetic AF and the core gameplay is solid.

The only thing spiders like more than a warm mouth is a warm butthole. The human butthole is the perfect environment for a spider to get nice and cozy. It’s estimated that the average person has 10 spiders enter their butthole every year.

IMO if they didn’t want to risk living with the pain of that, they should try to kill themselves in some other, more reliable way. Self immolation isn’t just about suicide, it’s about using your suicide to send a political message, which I personally think is an incredibly selfish, stupid, and dangerous thing to do. People doing something like that don’t deserve to have their wishes respected. They are sick, they are creating a situation that is dangerous to the physical and mental health of the people around them, and they need to be stopped.

I guess you were expecting a very different game. I would challenge calling that poor execution though. I personally found the difficulty, the danger of combat, and the atmosphere to be the game’s biggest strengths. I was looking for a game that properly made you feel like a medieval peasant.
Too many medieval RPGs are about fulfilling a power fantasy as some kind of badass, but I really liked that KC:D was more about the vibes of just being a relative nobody in a historically accurate medieval simulation.
