- Comment on Epic boss Tim Sweeney thinks stores like Steam should stop labelling games as being made with AI: 'It makes no sense,' he says, because 'AI will be involved in nearly all future production 1 week ago:
Man… the future is going to be BLEAK.
- Comment on Dude read the rules of woman only community and decided to post anyway 2 weeks ago:
It wouldn’t be about subject matter, it would be that I don’t support inclusivity in groups.
I’m sure subjectively, I could find good conversation in either genderized communities. But the minute anything becomes a walled garden, it loses its ability to be objective and nuanced.
- Comment on Dude read the rules of woman only community and decided to post anyway 2 weeks ago:
I blocked it too. It’s not strange at all. If a community disallows people to contribute based on gender, race, etc… I disallow them to appear in my feed.
- Comment on Dude read the rules of woman only community and decided to post anyway 2 weeks ago:
Same. I generally don’t care to read posts in communities that practice inclusivity. Same would go for any “men only” communities.

It’s a pretentious antagonistic person just trying to be a special snowflake.
- Comment on apparently, the T button dosent exist for some people 2 weeks ago:
I just don’t read their shit.

It doesn’t get more pretentious than people pulling this shit.
- Comment on ‘Clair Obscur’ Leads The Game Awards 2025 Nominees With 12 Nods; ‘Silent Hill f’ Has Four Nominations 2 weeks ago:
My opinion is Kingdom Come deliverance II should take it. This isn’t base on favoritism, but that the manor of detail and hard work by such a small developer shows the love and care put into making a good product.
Though I know that because of The popularity contest nature of these things, it’ll get snubbed by bigger and flashier things.
- Comment on ‘Clair Obscur’ Leads The Game Awards 2025 Nominees With 12 Nods; ‘Silent Hill f’ Has Four Nominations 2 weeks ago:
Yeah, like all awards- it’s a popularity contest.

Might just do that

This is the only downside of console gaming. I’d love to be able to check this out. Not spending two grand on a gaming PV only to either fight with windows or take a college course on how to use Linux.
- Comment on Game marketing company takes down blog post bragging about how good it is at astroturfing Reddit after Reddit finds the post 3 weeks ago:
Cool, so- everyone should boycott those games and send a message to any developer hiring shitfucks like this clown and his company.
- Comment on Why am I seeing posts from blocked instances? 3 weeks ago:
Sadly the just blocking the instance, doesn’t block the users of said instance. You have to do that manually.
If it helps, just say bad shit about China and Russia, they’ll all flock to smugly quote some dumb shit from Stalin, and you can just block them all in a fell swoop.
- Comment on What's a recent game you've tried playing that isn't worth the hype? 3 weeks ago:
No one. Because it’s incredibly cringy.
- Comment on What's a recent game you've tried playing that isn't worth the hype? 3 weeks ago:
The entire Mass Effect series. Many of the missions were dredging through mostly empty buildings that had copy-pasted boxes and random shit in them. The world felt purposeless and generic. The story didn’t really grab me and the play was clunky and awkward.

Bad photoshop is bad. There are free online tutorials that in ten minutes, would teach someone how not to call this a finished product.
- Comment on Square Enix says it wants generative AI to be doing 70% of its QA and debugging by the end of 2027 4 weeks ago:
So… no more SE games for me. Not a huge loss to be honest.
- Comment on For those of you who enjoy open-world games, how big of a world is too big? 4 weeks ago:
I’m of the mindset that it can never be too big, as long as it has some life to it. I don’t mind games taking a long time to finish. And I don’t mind if the grind is in the traveling. It’s cathartic in a way.
- Comment on Simp 4 weeks ago:
As a dude that is a little over 50 years old that has had friends in pretty much every clique imaginable since the 80’s- I can safely say I have never in my life ever heard anyone say they can “fix” someone.

- Comment on Youtube can detect VPNs now... the fuck? 5 weeks ago:
lol… so again, it seems our ability to stand behind our convictions is directly proportional to how addicted to said thing we are.
If you truly hate YouTube, you’d just stop using it. It’s pretty easy. Go without. I promise it doesn’t hurt.
- Comment on Youtube can detect VPNs now... the fuck? 5 weeks ago:
I stopped using YouTube. It’s not hard. Especially when you come to terms with the fact that every video you watch is just telling them you’re okay with what they do.
We seem to have no problem boycotting things we either don’t use, or can easily replace. Don’t like a store? There’s plenty others that will be happy to sell you the exact same items….
But when it comes to actually boycotting significant things in our lives because they are toxic?
Naaaah…
- Comment on Youtube can detect VPNs now... the fuck? 5 weeks ago:
A lack of alternatives is not an excuse to continue using something you don’t like. I honestly don’t get the culture around all the YouTube hate.
I don’t use shit that I don’t like. I don’t support things that I don’t agree with the practices of. YouTube treats its users and creators like shit. Know what?
They’ll continue to do so as long as people keep using their platform. That’s how it goes. It’s not going to change. And every workaround that is created, will get squashed.
People that are always complaining about it, and then continuing to use it just blows my mind. I’ll never understand it- even when people try and justify it. And that there are no alternatives basically just says that you’re willing to eat whatever shit they serve you, so long as you get your fix.
It’s an addiction at this point. You’re willfully enduring shit you hate so you can have moments of shit you enjoy.
- Comment on Youtube can detect VPNs now... the fuck? 5 weeks ago:
I generally don’t use throngs that I hate, regardless.
