… fans are making their voices heard as loudly as possible, to the point where PlayStation itself is reportedly reaching out to game developers…

And yet… Anybody else notice you can’t write in your reason for canceling PS+ (at least I couldn’t when I did it a few weeks ago)?

I won’t spoil what the reason would have been but it wasn’t “not enough developer surveys”

I don’t know (nor care) who that is but I’d imagine that kinda success pours fuel onto the fire of self-serving bias but regardless they just do stupid stuff sometimes

There’s also a selection bias on the other side. When’s the last time you read an article about “Sarah Silverman continues to live well under her means”?

I’ve read Lemmy admin tools are lacking compared to Piefed and Mbin but can’t speak from experience

Still, community moderation is a passion project so if you don’t see a point there probably is none to be had

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨How Lemmy users feel when they delete their Reddit account⁩ ⁨⁨9⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago⁩:

Guessing you meant Lemmy instead of Jerboa

I’ve recently hopped to Piefed since they have a keyword filter helps reduce the self-congratulatory noise of a lot of it but it’s still the same people/fediverse and some of it is just everywhere on the internet

The mobile app selection also isn’t as good
