- Comment on Is there a mechanism in the USA to undo presidential pardons years later if political corruption has been proven as motivation to give these pardons? 4 days ago:
That's the neat part, it's worded such that it could go either way. With the current makeup of the court, impeachment proceedings would have to start with the 6 first, and then flow back to the executive if we wanted anything to actually stick.

Okay but you don’t have to turn everything into an acronym like Redditors and business people do
I have never uttered the term "Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol" outside of a basic networking lecture and I never will. Alphabet soup can be taken too far, but there are good and real reasons why some of this stuff exists.

They're already not paying for QA, so if anything this would be a net increase in resources allocated just to bring the machines onboard to do the task

According to all known laws
of aviation,
there is no way a bee
should be able to fly.
Its wings are too small to get
its fat little body off the ground.
The bee, of course, flies anyway
because bees don't care
what humans think is impossible. - Comment on Sounds about right 1 month ago:
You have Light Mode and Dark Mode, but now, introducing: Dusk Mode!

This surprises me, as I've only really encountered one lobby that had griefing issues, and they were readily resolved by me running an autocannon and the laser pistol lol. I think the nature of the game itself does a lot to minimize the impact of players being jackasses.

So, this varies wildly, but my understanding was that, barring some sort of shenanigan, it's generally only 'needed'/expected to tip housekeeping when you make a mess outside of normal usage of the space (like a 'oops, I'm sorry I left trash everywhere, I was in a huge rush and didn't have time to tidy up before I checked out' sort of thing, like a slob tax).
For bus drivers, our street gets together and gets them a gift basket/gift card at the holidays.

I would also add that 'why use many words when few word do' is usually used to obfuscate bad stuff, so you could potentially pass the vibe check by just saying the above similarity to how you described it here.

There's no need for AI, standard look-ahead normalization would be more than enough for this if it was allowed to work properly. I've not met the content that VLC's audio normalization can't fix, for example.
