Pay attention to what? Why would you say that and then proceed to say nothing?
- Comment on The person who mounted a spice rack into the fucking studs so a fridge won't fit there 4 days ago:
I dunno, it’s kinda weird that they mention it’s “into the studs” as if it makes it a load-bearing spice rack. Just a weirdly irrelevant thing to say, makes me suspicious that OP thinks anything screwed into studs has to stay there forever or the house falls down.

These games are hard to tolerate with their uber cringe dialogue. No one talks to anyone the way people talk to each other in these games. It’s obviously been filtered through a half dozen sensitivity filters and it’s just so hard to listen to.

I’ve yet to find a browser on iOS that blocks ads as effectively. I’d like to use Firefox but they don’t seem interested in adding Adblock on their iOS app. I don’t want to use Brave but browsing the internet with ads is an absolute non-starter.

What would help is everyone involved with that decision got the fucking boot, got fined and/or jail time, but as usual the ramifications of these things don’t have any real punishment for the people who broke the law.

I played some destiny when it came out, but they never seemed to figure out what you should be doing in the endgame aside from making number go up. Here, do these 4 specific activities over and over and over again and hope you get a bigger number.
I never touched it again after they decided to throw content I paid for in the garbage. I understand their reasoning, I read their apology-thing and I get it. But here’s the thing, their technical debt is not my problem. It sounded to me like they should just make Destiny 3 instead of chucking content I paid for out.

- Comment on Dragon Age veteran says scrapped Anthem Next "could have been" up there with No Man's Sky's legendary turnaround 2 months ago:
I’m sure whatever NDA I signed is extinct now.
I’d imagine these comments are being made as a some thought experiment kinda deal. I play tested one of their concepts for Anthem Next. It was unremarkable, and the majority of the session was them trying to narrow down why people played Destiny. It was obviously what audience they wanted. The guy running it was visibly annoyed that my looter shooter of choice at the time was The Division.
It wasn’t going to be anything without a lot more work. The flying was nice. Everything else was still painfully generic. There’s a reason it got canned.

- Comment on We'll probably never see a Grand Theft Auto set in a futuristic city like GTA 2 because the team "hated it": "People didn’t connect with the game or its city" 3 months ago:
Weird article. GTA2 came out in 1999. That’s a long time ago. I doubt most of that team still works there. The idea that they had an issue making it somehow meaning that, over two decades later, the same issues will remain is an odd conclusion.
It’s just a weird comment, I get what he’s saying back then, but Saints Row had multiple games come out in pseudo-futuristic setting that were batshit crazy and fun to play, so obviously it can be done.
Lets be honest, we won’t see a futuristic GTA at this point because shark cards are a money-printing machine and Take Two will never approve anything like that because it would be too risky.

Sonic sucks.
The guy is supposed to “go fast” but the levels are absolute nonsense that inhibit your ability to “go fast”, and then once you play the game enough (which you shouldn’t) to memorize the levels (what a waste of brain matter) and “go fast”, the game ends quickly because you “went fast”.
Fundamentally terrible games. People who like sonic are weirdos.

- Comment on Do we have No Man's Sky fans here? 3 months ago:
I know I’m wilding but I actually liked the launch game more than what it became. But that says more about what I look for in a game than the quality of NMS. It objectively became a better game than it was at launch, but it pivoted to become more of a crafting and building thing than an exploration game…. And I’ve been done with crafting and building for a long time
