One of my favourite games of all time! Very obviously based on 3rd edition dungeons and dragons

We’re in the age of AI now. Are future historians going to be able to trust primary sources?

Now I’m wishing Fallout 4 had a floating settlement. Maybe a brotherhood blimp or something. I bet I could cook something up at Starlight.

Maybe it’s 6800.5, halfway between 6800 and 6801?

I remember bricking my 1000 with an official update. It might be salvageable, I haven’t tried in years. I think my wife’s 2000 is still modded and working fine in a drawer somewhere.

That screen looks awfully flat to me
- Comment on Some of Android's Most Interesting Games Aren't on the Play Store 2 months ago:
Hoped to find some cool new suggestions, instead I learned about three games I’ve already got installed. Breakout 71 is absolutely incredible, and at 492 kB(!!) you should install it to your phone, tablet, and floppy disk right now. It’s also on the Play store, so you can recommend it to people less concerned with privacy.
I think I’ve played another variant on the open source Pixel Dungeon but after not playing it for many years I uninstalled it because Shattered Pixel Dungeon was actively being developed and it wasn’t. I continued to not play it. And I’ve never opened AAAXY so no opinions there.

I feel like a lot of straight men, self-proclaimed perverted or otherwise, fetishize virginity and a general lack of their partner having their own experiences, and a perverted woman runs rather contrary to that. It’s a lot of patriarchal power expectations.

Just in time for the technology to die!
- Comment on Is Hades hard to beat? 4 months ago:
Is it hard to beat? Yeah, kinda if it’s not your thing. But I had a lot of fun with each reset, because of all of the little subplots and character moments back at home base so I was never too disappointed when a run ended prematurely. I can tell you it took me way more than 30 attempts!
- Comment on I am only now discovering the sheer addictiveness of Sid Meier's Civilization. 5 months ago:
I’ve played the first five Civ games and I have fond memories of buying units with diplomats! There’s also FreeCiv which is an open source project that’s very similar to Civ2 but probably supports modern hardware better. It’s been built for android but from what I understand they’re built by third parties so if you’re tech savvy or feeling adventurous you could build it yourself. I played it many years ago in a really rough state where nothing was explained and my own knowledge of Civ 2 was the only thing that made it playable but from what I have heard it’s much better now.
Fun fact, Civ1 was ported to the SNES and Civ2 was ported to the PlayStation.

Darn, I just bought it on Steam. Well I can probably de-Steam it.
- Comment on I Bought a “Junk” PSP From Japan: Here’s How It Went 6 months ago:
I still have my PSP 1000. I bought it from a pawn shop with my very first pay cheque. Bricked it with an official update. Maybe salvageable, I’m a lot better at tinkering than I was back then, but my wife’s 2000 is modded and probably still working fine.

Fancy 16-ply toilet paper. That’s why they’re so worried about the rate, it costs $20 a roll.

Similarly they ported Rockbox to the RG Nano and even sort of to the Nintendo 3DS.
- Comment on GOG now using AI generated images on their store 7 months ago:
I love that one false dichotomy argument the one poster presents, where being anti-AI is anti-progress in all its forms, and being PRO-AI is the only way to a post-scarcity society. That’s definitely the only two possibilities, for sure.
- Comment on Day 556 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 7 months ago:
Very fond memories of this game but it’s been so long I’m not sure it holds up. I know I’ve changed, I don’t really play shooters anymore.

I’ve saved the wax and tried to come up with a creative use for it, but I’ve never decided to make it somebody else’s problem and then make them pay for the privilege.

Persona 3 Reload. Borrowed it from the library. And on the side, some Slay the Princess.

I had a GBA and DS growing up but a used PSP was my very first purchase with my first day cheque. The idea of playing PS1 games on the go still seemed so revolutionary to me. What a fun little device to tinker with.
