Yeah like the sun only feels good on your face because it’s such a contrast to feeling cold or wet or stress and tightness in your skin and muscles, or pain. There isn’t something inherently magical about the sun on your face. It’s nice because it feels so much better in comparison to most of the sensations we usually feel.

If you’re my manager and I really like you enough to actually want to help out it’s because of 4 main things:
- I’m compensated appropriately
- I know my extra help will be appreciated and include extra compensation
- This isnt a regular occurrence and the position isnt chronically short-staffed
- You bust your ass to make sure things get done before you try to pass the work on to someone else.
Without those 4 things I don’t care how cool of a person you are or how great your personality is, you’re a shit manager and you’re doing a shit job and I’m not going to pick up your slack.

The only thing that could make sucking on some titties better is if they dispensed drugs. I’ve never tried it with a woman who’s lactating and it’d probably be kinda hot as a novelty, but the milk is not the selling point, I’m interested in the tits themselves. It’s cooler underground because it’s well insulated. That also means it’s incredibly difficult to get rid of any waste heat. With artificial lighting, electronics, hell even just people moving around, that’s a ton of heat being out that needs to go somewhere. Not to mention the amount of ventilation that would be required just to have breathable air. Are you imagining people driving around on underground roads?

For some people standard of living isn’t absolute, it’s relative. They don’t judge by how comfortable they are or how much they can do with what they have, they judge based on how much better off they are than everyone else. For these people standard of living rising for everyone else would be equivalent to theirs dropping massively. It’s pretty fucked up.

I think you’re assuming that everyone has the same reactions as you do, but that’s not true at all. I’ve never lived in a place with a heavy cockroach infestation but I’ve seen a few and they don’t have that effect on me at all. I logically know they’re a pest and gross, but I don’t have any physical or emotional reaction to them at all. I feel like your fear is a learned response.

This is why even though I love aquariums, I don’t think I could have one. Like I get that the purpose of the image is to show that they have a much larger space than most other fish kept in aquariums, and that’s a much bigger tank than most people have, but that still doesn’t seem like a lot of room to live their entire life in. It just makes me sad to think about it.
