Can some tell me how Deezer stacks up? I switched from Spotify to Deezer a little while ago, not for any real reason, other than Spotify kept increasing their prices and I don’t really listen to audio books or podcasts even. Plus Deezer streams hifi flacs as standard so it sounds nds way better. I’ve got no idea how ethical they are tho, but would be interested to learn.
- Comment on How long do we have before PCs get locked bootloaders and corporations ban installation of "non-approved" software? (for context: Google is restricting sideloading worldwide on Android ETA 2027) 1 week ago:
I’m honestly kinda sick of this. Sure, Google’s decision to try to lock down their devices to prevent installing unsigned apps is concerning for FOSS. But can we ask just calm down a bit?
Linux isn’t going anywhere, and neither is hardware that supports it. Yes, is possible that Microsoft or even Intel (now that Trump has bought into it) might try to do some sketchy shit. But the open hardware market is starting to look promising. Look at MNT, System76, Pine, Framework etc…
I agree times are scary and everything is looking kinda bleak, but your best option right now is to completely boycot (as much as possible) Google, Apple, Meta, Microsoft etc. Just stop using their shit.
Buy up old PC’s, turn them into home servers and self host as many services as you can.
I’m confident GrapheneOS will continue and we will still have f-droid after 2027. But I’m an optimist.
- Comment on Tell them to fuck off 3 weeks ago:
I read the other day that a good response to these fuck heads is ridicule. They’re not only prepared for a fight, it’s what they want. What they can’t stand however is being ridiculed and laughed at. The most demoralising thing you can do is to laugh in their face because of how fucking ridiculous they are.
Sure, tell them to Fuck right Off… but do it with a chuckle and a grin. They won’t know how to handle it.

Just find a woman that swallows dude. Don’t neuter yourself just yet. Also the pill is very effective these days, and a chemical abortion is also cheap and less invasive than a vasectomy. And if your smart and in a long term relationship you can track your partners ovulation and raw dog some of the time.
What I’m saying is, there are other options. Your also presuming that all the women you fuck will be ok with no condom. Women care about std’s too so you might find yourself needing to wear a rubber anyway. That would be ironic.
- Comment on How does a guy become his most confident around women? 1 month ago:
Honestly, is why men in their 50’s be pulling his 30 year old women. It often takes time for men to mature and gain confidence. Don’t sweat it. It’ll come.

- Comment on How did a simple phone call become so problematic? 7 months ago:
I use ms teams for work, and I agree, it’s been a game changer in terms of productivity. But I’ll still call someone in teams of I know they’re at there computer. Camera on an all. It’s about being personal. Building rapport with colleagues and other professionals aids tremendously with productivity and also job satisfaction.

Sometimes it’s better to not put things in writing. I hear what your saying, but some sensitive topics require a personal connection to truely discuss, with tone of voice to help

My thoughts exactly.

For the workplace, calls are king. If you’re a professional, calling another professional, it’s the easiest and fastest way to exchange information back and forth. Long email chains that take several days to reach their conclusion are inefficient. If you need something done, in the work/business arena, just call. Younger generations are entering the workforce for first time and are scared to make or answer calls. It’s embarrassing.
Sure, outside of work, keep calls to a bare minimum. Family usually text first to arrange a phone call.
People have no back bone anymore. Oh no, I’m getting telemarketing calls… Just hang up.
