This is an example of social darwinism. That doesn’t mean I don’t agree with this idea, it’s just that I don’t agree that it is viable to expect it from everyone.
Companies must be forced to care about peoples’ security and privacy. Actively fighting against bots infestation is a part of that.

Which is the worst of two worlds, because now most people will still not be able to verify other account’s credibility, however people with bad intentions - who are usually more prepared - will still be able to continue their activities.

I guess, umm, probably sure in my opinion… maybe?
For real though, I appreciate that you’re trying to disclaim that it is much more of an educated guess than an objective truth, instead of just trying to paint it as if it were that truth…
…
…but you still sound like you’re just a professional opinion haver.

Unironically I find that repeating what your correspondent said but as a question shows your engagement, especially when they said something more expressive.

Does that mean it is not true that it becomes harder to learn new things with age?
I’m 26 and I’ve been rushing gaining knowledge and experience very much so far for fear of just not being able to fit in much more once I reach certain age.
No I’m not virtue signaling, this is fucking stressful and I will be delighted to slow down a fuckton if that’s true.

It’s just like if you meet a Russian who left. I would hope you’d have the nuance to think “oh, they escaped, fantastic for them and I’m so sorry about their country” not “oh they must love Putin”
Unfortunately, as a Polish person, reality proved to me over and over and over again that in this particular scenario, the latter is just most often the case.
Russian people have special love for strong men in power. Make no mistake, they somehow even managed to turn Marxist ideas into authoritarianism and it made a massive damage to the international perception of the idea of communism. To this day general populace, when you say socialism, they see Stalin.
