Hm, my experiences with e-Bay have been pretty bad (hard to return items or get customer support involved when something is wrong). I’ve had better luck with just random mid-sized buisnesses or directly ordering from the manufacturer.

Yeah fr, I do lots of my online shoping with a vpn, an adblocker, blocking non-necessary java scripts and using my own e-Mail domain or a temporary adress from my provider and have never been blocked or got restricted.

What kind of stuff have you been buying? I buy a moderate amount of my stuff online and was able to almost entirely avoid Amazon this year. The only exception was a phone display where Amazon had a LCD-variant for ~30€ while all others only had an OLED for ~90€.

I have the same scale and bought a few rechargable ithium-Ion AAAs and they work line a charm having a constant voltage until empty.
Only downside is that you don’t get any warning when they are about to run.

Newpipe has hat two major fixes to account for yt changing the way it served videos. Wasn’t working for a few weeks for me either but since 1-2 weeks ago it’s reliably working again. So, maybe try and update to the newest version now to check if it works again if you are interested in using it.
