Linux mint isnt just not bleeding edge, its significantly more stable than Debian. Its so much incredibly more stable that they still use X11 and probrally will for the foreseeable future.

Ketchup has corn syrup in the US, also its generally way too sweet. Im not sure about where you are but imo tomatoes (an already sweet vegetable) doesn’t need additional sweetening.
- Comment on 4 weeks ago:
I prefer my food without corn syrup

I never really think about it, but yeah its pretty windy

It gets unbearably hot in the summer, but then it gets cold and dry.

White people are finally starting to catch on that food is supposed to taste good, leave mayo and ketchup in the past.
- Comment on Introverts of our era spend their time on their computers, but what did introverts do before? Like when literacy rates were lower (pre-1950s)? Or before the printing press? 5 weeks ago:
People used to live in the secluded far edges of the village when they really wanted to be left alone
- Comment on Does anyone else notice an up tick in hostility on Lemmy lately? 5 weeks ago:
Not only is it not more hostile I would argue its less hostile. During the election season you couldn’t say Kamala was anything other than perfect without being called a tankie. Hell you couldn’t even talk about any of the issues that mattered without being called a “single issue voter”. Granted today you have the people saying “well acturally the toxicity is because of those other people”, still not as bad.
- Comment on Framework under fire for Omarchy/DHH/Hyprland support? 1 month ago:
I genuenly dont understand why a glorified set of dotfiles have recived such an enormous amount of donations and publicity. Not a good set of dotfiles mind you, in fact it looks like subpar compared to the many superior Hyprland dotfiles. Whats even more absurd is that people are saying “this will get people to use Linux”, yeah im sure this is what Linux needs another distro thats slightly different.
- Comment on What's your test for people? 1 month ago:
My test is the classic shopping cart test, for those who don’t know its a test based on if someone returns a shopping cart. Its a societal benefit that is not aknowlaged and requires minimal effort. You wont be punished if you dont return it yet you’re being an asshole.

- Comment on How long do we have before PCs get locked bootloaders and corporations ban installation of "non-approved" software? (for context: Google is restricting sideloading worldwide on Android ETA 2027) 2 months ago:
Well yes many arm PCs do work, im just saying eventually they will be locked down
- Comment on How long do we have before PCs get locked bootloaders and corporations ban installation of "non-approved" software? (for context: Google is restricting sideloading worldwide on Android ETA 2027) 2 months ago:
I would say if/when PCs move over to ARM than we very well may see the same issues mobile devices have. There is a severe lack of Linux compatibility due to proprietary drivers, sometimes no drivers at all, no software support, and no device trees.

Yeah, fascists don’t like it when you tear down your propoganda posters. I have since made a promise to myself to never allow fascists to hold that much power over me again.
