I feel like the top 5 - 10% could probably make money, not just the top .01

Wonder where the money goes, considering the fact that a lot of the core gameplay code could be reused.
Also how has Black Ops 6, which presumably cost at least a billion to make, STILL not managed to make their free-for-all mode actually work??

- Comment on What games have you sunk the most time into? 3 weeks ago:
Definitely WoW overall, but I don’t know how much time. Minecraft is around 300 I think. Factorio is a fairly recent addition for me, but is leading my steam library now, with Terraria in second. I assume RuneScape would be a contender as well. Maybe ESO too… I used to have a bit of an MMO problem.

Great trailer, although it edged a bit too far into Star Lord territory at the end there

This game is probably my favourite horror game of all time. That being said, I’m playing Alan Wake 2 currently, and it definitely does better at being scary. AW2 does an amazing job at creating disturbing environments and imagery, while also being oddly beautiful. Reminds me of the Hannibal TV series a lot.

they want to maximize the predictability of their resource usage in terms of staff and servers.
I think you are definitely correct here. However, you are overlooking the actual main goal of every business - making as much money as possible.

I haven’t been using kagi long enough to really understand how it works yet, but it’s my understanding that they want you to pay every month, even if you had remaining searches from the previous month.
If I pay $5 for 300 searches, why does it matter if I do them within a time frame? When someone isn’t’ searching, they aren’t really costing Kagi anything.
Alternatively, let people pay 1.6 cents per search (or 1.8 cents or something).

I feel like their pricing would make more sense if you could just pay for your usage, rather than forcing a subscription

- Comment on Why do I feel sick every time I go out to eat with my gf? 3 months ago:
I have a similar issue sometimes. I feel like I get overstimulated by smells in restaurants… Also I’m lazy so I eat boring food at home, so maybe the variety contributes to the nausea.
Also I’m celiac, which definitely doesn’t help.
