  This mean that house prices will fall since fewer buyers will be interested. The question is whether the houses will be gobbled up by private equity or will be allowed to fall down enough for more people to start buying houses to live in

    There was a short term burst of 1/2 bed houses on the market. It’s mostly worked through now.

      Only if those firms smell a profit, which apparently means selling them, rather than renting them.

      Unused property makes no money.

      I see hope, but likely the government will need to continue to support this.

  Hahaha! Good. That gets rid of the shit landlords. The changes aren’t even that dramatic. You can’t get rid of a tenant if they haven’t done anything wrong, is one of the new changes. If that makes a landlord “quit” then good riddance
