Progressives are terrifically creative at coming up with new language. We’re so good at it that we freely abandon old phrases the moment the right picks them up as pejoratives.
I say stop. Woke is great. Also start marching on defund the motherfucking police again.
Do you know the roots of the word’s usage in this sense? “Correcting” it is far more cinge-worthy in my book

I like the term woke. When people criticize wokeness you know that they are asleep.
Saw someone the other day describe Portland as 'full of whimsical anarchists" or something.
Not a fan of terms and lumping people together into groups. Seems like we can boil it down to simply: “Don’t be a dick.”

People saying “woke” to describe things they don’t like is brilliant.
It means you know immediately whether or not someone is a moron and so makes it easy to avoid them
