Clarkson who, after starting to run a farm, told us that his previous climate change denial was all a joke. He doesn’t even have the guts to own it. Let him look at his scorched fields and know that he helped make this happen.

That’s actually his entire point. He is fully cognizant of the fact that he is rich and wants to help be the voice of the common farmer that doesn’t have the resources he does. He said as much in his series.

farming will have to drastically change because of soil exhaustion and droughts due to climate change and centuries of systematic mismanagement of the land. a competent state could lead the way and ease the transition, but here we are. it’s going to be terrible.

He is doing somethong for UK farming. If it amounts to anything is up for debate. But if you’re going to dismiss him now because he has changed his stance? You’re the cunt, not him (on this occasion).

Just because he does a half baked farming show (where he’s mocked sustainable farming) doesn’t mean he’s not wrong. He also hasnt changed his stance. He still denies climate change is caused by humans, downplays it’s effects (except when it impacts him directly), and believed we can “science” our way out of it.
He’s a grifter and an arsehole.
