Why aren’t you using Stremio + Torrentio? Higher quality anyway.

You’d still be downloading Torrents which isn’t possible or preferable for everybody.
A good solution is to add a cheap debrid service that acts as a downloader+cache for the torrents and serves them to you at gigabit speeds. Torbox has a $3/month subscription that would already make your experience extremely good.

The debrid goes without saying.
I should’ve mentioned that, but any of the guides for the 5-10 min setup include them.
Prob the only real effort in it is checking which one works best in your region. They all do, but some have better bandwidth than others.
Keep in mind too, my solution is the “your grandma can cancel her subs and do this right now in a few minutes” deal for the loungeroom telly. Set it up recently for my Aunt, catching up for lunch, along with SmartTube. A few months before, installed an adblocker extention. Life changers.

If you must use a streaming service check out Pluto TV

No way, Pluto has unlockable ads.
Tubi and Fawesome’s ads are blocked with UBlock Origin on Firefox.

Or feed those steams into Dispatcharr and back to Jellyfin/Plex so you can pause/skip/record what’s on.

Just download the content in the app and disconnect the internet before watching…

You can download on the TV?
