This is like Dwarf Bread in the Discworld books. It’s impossible to starve if you have it with you because while you can, technically, eat it you’re absolutely guaranteed to find something else you’d rather eat instead.

Push that to a further extreme, and it’d make for a great SCP. Just imagine your bar for what qualifies as food slowly lowering as you continue to avoid eating it. You catch yourself in the mirror eating a half decomposed rat like it were a protein bar.

I came in thinking it looked like a kickass flapjack.
Im going to leave now, before I read any more of your nightmare words.

Unironically make something like this at least once a month with ground chicken.

Not too different than what my old Chihuahua ate due to dietary issues.
1lb ground turkey, pumpkin puree from a can, half bag of frozen mixed veggies, a little rice, and egg or two to bind. It was bland but the old guy loved it.

It’s like Meatloaf+
I’d try it.

it wasn’t bad but I was forbidden from eating it.

Ok, I had to do a search to figure what an “anti-hunger protein loaf” was.
A mix of white eggs, ground meat and oats??
Now I’m absolutely convinced such horrors should not be made in this world.

This is called “goetta” here in Cincinnati. Usually you toss some spices in the mix, fry it up and serve it for breakfast. It’s delicious. I know Pennsylvania has a similar thing called “scrapple”.
Now, without the spices, yes, terrible.

My buddy married an American girl from Pennsylvania and everytime her parents come to visit they bring boxes of kerrygold butter and scrapple, we had to buy a freezer just so she could store the stuff she couldn’t get in Canada. I’ve had this scrapple stuff and… Meh honestly

I mean no disrespect but that sounds awful. Those spices have to do some heavy lifting
