Taco Bell took more action sooner than the US government did.

Right, I don’t get how this is so under the radar. They took preemptive action ten days ago, a whole week before Taylor Farms was named as the supplier.

My question is why Taco fucking Bell has better epidemiologists (or whatever) than the government. I meant, I know the answer in broad strokes, but still.

The pessimist in me says that sometimes the profit motive makes people make the right choices. The optimist in me says that people at TB care for their customers and want to give them the best. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.

Can’t die from Taco Bell if you don’t go to Taco Bell.

      This is Hollywood, Larry.

Everyone goes to Taco Bell and everyone lies about it.

    _Number 15: Explosive diarrhea lettuce.

The last thing you’d want on your wagon travel route is someone’s unmonitored parasite. But as it turns out, that might be what you get._

Apparently(I didn’t fact check this) the infected produce is all coming from this “Taylor farms” or whatever, so as long as you get it from somewhere else you should be okay?

Probably, but it may take a while to source new lettuce for that many restaurants.
