and weird people still insist it’s a better lubricant than oil or grease, which are actaully lubricants.
If you want to be pedantic, WD-40 is a brand that also sells lubricant. And they advertise their general use WD-40 as several things including a lubricant. It’s not a good long term lubricant compared to oil or grease, but it is a lubricant.
