Because smart people are typically less likely to be an asshole who take advantage of their piers

Yeah, a smart person launches from shore. Piers are for evil people

Maybe because all billionaires under 30 have inherited their wealth

Crazy how a handful of high taxes could fix the vast majority of society’s problems: Inheritance Tax, Political Advertising Tax, Political Donation Tax, Luxuries Tax, Capital-Gains Tax… Just shifting incentives would fix a lot of problems.

Because it selects for psychopathy and not (or not just) intelligence

Most billionaires inherited their money, solved

Of course LinkedIn slop misinterprets the data to basically say, “You, too, can become a billionaire even if you have mediocre grades!”

That hellscape of a platform is so full of self aggrandizement and accountability dodging.

As a selfmade billionaire I can tell you it’s all about your grind mind. I started my company in the kitchen and continued in the garage. When my mom initially said I can’t have 10 million in starting capital I asked her again and she said ok. Grind mind. Then she told me not to take the lambo but guess what? I took it anyway. Grind mind.

Smart people and people with a strong work ethic for things that don’t come naturally to them aren’t generally evil enough to steal from workers, con, or do generally evil things.

Because GPA is a poor predictor of success at either university or business
