  like Chihuahuas, dogs do not deserve this. they threw their lot in with us and we haven’t done them right.

    We don’t deserve dogs.

    The AKC is a terrible organization that promotes asthetic breed standards over health. They set the norms and expectations for breeders.

    There is an incredible movement happening primarily in western Europe to breed out brachycephalic traits from pugs both in pure bred lines and by crossing in longer snout breeds. These are known as retropugs or retromops.
