  You can swap in “go to bed” and “get out of bed” and it’s just as valid.

  I’ve got no heat other than a space heater or hot water because of a busted oil tank. I take showers at freezing temperatures at short bursts and they’re… Refreshing I guess. But I don’t want to stay in them.

    Dad and I are sitting at my college duplex a week before I move out. Gas guy pulls up and cuts me off.

    “Didn’t pay the bill?”

    “Nah, don’t need the heater, thought I’d get ahead, get that taken care of.”

    “You like taking cold showers huh?”

      He cut off your heat and you asked him if he liked cold showers?

      Did he turn you heat back on at least?

  It’s not that I dislike getting in the shower, but that I dislike the part where I have to get out. Then I’m wet, colder, and clothes tend to stick until I’m completely dry. Not to mention having long hair that stays wet and damp for quite a while. It’s an annoryance.
